Let's say there will be an option to turn on/off partner.
What would you like and why (PROS/CONS please)?:
-Playing alone without any partner character following you.
-Playing with AI/ RL partner.

(This is a neutral thread, which means I'm not for or against co-op or any other RE6 features. I'm just merely curious about what you think.)

I think I like co-op in the new games better than single player mode. I know that I enjoyed playing RE5 much more than I enjoyed playing RE4, I think this is because playing next to someone adds to the experience, but I don't really play games online so if it was a choice between online multiplayer or solo, I would choose solo

The option to have the AI co-op partner on or off would be great. So you could solo alone and play online with a friend.

I choose solo...If we have to have a partner AI with us the whole time taking away form the element of fear then so be it...But at least I can turn all the lights off in my big house, turn up the volume, and make it feel like I'm alone with no help in my OWN surroundings...Playing co-op ruins that...

However, when it comes time for Mercs, you KNOW I'll be playing with my best friend Patch...

Yep, I completely agree with that. If the game's really going to have a survival horror segment, than I prefer solo for that part.

Though, to tell you the truth I was more frustrated/annoyed during RE4, than excited/having fun in solo, because the constant swarm of Ganados. So if Chris' campaign will be like that -which is highly possible- , then I'd prefer co-op during the shoot-em-up part of the game to decrease my cps (cursing per sec) LOL.

I prefer the single player game as in all honesty I am not very good at multi-player/co-op type game play. But it is always nice for the parts that you become really stuck on to have someone to help you out so I'd never completely ignore co-op play.

I actually really like the co-op aspect of it - only because it's usually much more fun to play a video game with friends than by your onesome. Although, I usually go through the game by myself first just to get a feel of it before I start playing with others.

Solo for at least the first playthrough- especially on story mode. After that anything goes.

Co-op.

That because I know of some of my friends that are getting it as well, and we plan on having a blast going through it together.

The same here, after RE5 me and my cousin are going to play co-op splitscreen on RE6.

See, I actually enjoyed those parts of RE4...Even if it wasn't scary per se...It got your heart beating...And I think that's a good thing...There were HUGE swarms in RE5, but it never really got your heart beating and your breath heaving...So I think going solo on those sections will be a breath of fresh air...

Definitely CO-OP. This is one of the main reasons why I still play RE5 to this day, especially playing with your friends. Hell... I also had great times playing with randoms.

Co-op...
I'll play it in split-screen with my sister like we did with RE5

I don't like playing with someone online if we don't both have a bluetooth device... I'ts annoying to be texting instructions of tips...
