So I've just watched Zombieland and I have to say..

I love Shaun of the Dead! I really enjoyed Zombieland, too. I've always been partial to the remake of Night of the Living Dead. When I was younger, it reminded me of the first Resident Evil. Not to mention it was my first taste of the zombie genre. :P

I would love to see Z. A. Recht's Morningstar Saga turned into a movie. If you haven't read/heard of that series before, you need to check it out. Super solid books and probably the best series I've read.

Whenever I watch Zombieland I have this craving to play left 4 Dead, everyyytime I see it :D . You wnat classic zombie, infected or it doesn't matter. I really enjoyed 28 days/weeks later. Dawn of the dead Original and the 2000 something remake is a pretty good watch too. If you want another funny zombie movie try "Tokyo Zombie" it's a Japanese flick so you know it might not appeal to everyone, personally I loved it.

I absolutely loved Zombieland...It's right up there with Shawn of the Dead though...I love the remake of Dawn of the Dead...Land of the Dead was ok, but not the best by far...28 Days Later was sweet, but 28 Weeks was only alright...

Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead were ok to me, not bad, but not outstandingly good either.

If you want some hardcore zombie slashing action that actually looks good, then The Horde (2009) is your movie XD.
Dawn of The Dead (2004 remake by Zack Snyder) and the 28 [days/weeks] later series are among the best zombie flicks too.
The Crazies was a decent film too, but it's not a zombie movie.

Emma Stone was uber hot in that movie... I would've been like Columbus too. I loved his dorkyness in that movie, it was super cute.

Yep she was. Her eyes are amazing. That macho guy wasn't playing that bad either and the cameo was totally unexpected lol. Don't get me wrong the movie has its laughs, It is just that I find the sarcasm of Shaun of the dead a level above. I don't know about british food but I definitely enjoy british houmor :p

I also appreciate the fact that it's not your typical zombie killing movie. It has some sort of plot. So yeah, I might not try watching the Horde (xD) but Fido seems promising.

Finally, I feel kind of ashamed that I haven't watch neither night of the living dead, nor dawn of the dead... Actually I've watched half the remake of dawn of the dead. Stupid broken disc..

I've considered watching Fido, but I'm not quite sure what it's about...I agree, the Crazies is great, and it's zombie-ish, but not quite a zombie movie...

The zombies in Zombieland weren't technically zombies according to the creators of the movie. They were more like freak mutations. I can't remember exactly how they put it. They also had originally intended for it to be a t.v. series and not a movie.

Then they realized they couldn't compete with Walking Dead!
