Resident Evil 7 Slash, Slash, Slashity Slash glitched trophy?

anyone else encounter any problems with this? i've attempted on different spider covered doors (the armoury style cages and the door before Mrs B comes through and yells "stay the F out" . it's not unlocking for some reason.

i've seen a few reddit threads on this issue so does anyone have any idea how to trigger this?

I got that trophy first time after clearing the spiders off the cabinet. But some people that are having trouble with this trophy said they cleared the spiders off a normal door instead and then the trophy popped for them. So maybe give that a try.

Edit: Oh nvm, I just seen u tried a normal door too. Hmm that trophy may just be bugged (no pun intended) for some people. Capcom will probably have to fix it with a patch.

this can be closed now. after around 19 attempts and reloads of the game it randomly triggered.....
