Good night, I would like to know if this resident evil will work offline as 7. Why the demo only works online. Thanks.

Resident Evil 8 should work offline as it states in the Playstation store that it is offline single player.
If I had to guess why the demo only works online, it's probably so they can control when users can actually play it, as well as make sure users only get one hour of play time. They wouldn't be able to regulate this is it was offline, so it makes sense that it is only usable online.
