Resident Evil 4 Real Survival Challenge!

Hi,
Yesterday, I went up to my friends.. They were playing RE4(PS2) just for fun. But then, a strange idea popped into my head.. I don't know if this was earlier posted. If it was, then i'm sorry, otherwise try doing it.

I started a new game under normal mode and tried to play using ONLY the knife. It took me almost 2 hours to deal with the village ganados (the church area) because i had to use constant evasion and running to save health. The kick option was damn useful whenever i was surrounded by multiple fools.
Don't know how i will deal with the bosses.. But yeah a few boss fights can use guns.. For example, Salazar.

gotta admit.. it was real survival experience!

How did you get past the village? The knife is not particulary good for crowd control...

After the village, the next problem will be the dynamite guys. Not all of them will blow up only themselves. If you allow yourself to use the 9mm and grenades, you'll get quite far.

When it comes to just knifing you gotta speed run it, avoid everyone i guess.I haven't tried it though, that room in the castle where you got to pull down the bridge and they come from all angles would be impossible.Those crossbow guys too lol, gotta knife the arrows to stop yourself getting hit.

In the village of Pueblo, how do you speed run through it? I think the gate leading to the farm is locked until everyone go to church?

If you make it past the village, next problem is the dynamite guys near where you meet Luis. They are no so many so it's probably possible.

But what about the big valley? You have to collect the two halfs of the "key" item before you get out of there. And there are a horde of ganados. Surviving with a knife here can't be possible?

If you survive the Valley, you could perhaps survive the big hall in the castle with that bridge.

But I don't see how you possibly could get past The Gallery where that gatling gun is.

Anyone tell me how you knife Del Lago or speed run past him. ^_^

I guess, i have to use the gun in a few situations, where its impossible to deal with carrying a knife. But im trying my best with the knife.. So far, i've died thrice.. Still in da village (church area).

If you want to get somewhere, you should allow yourself to use grenades. It would be a hard challenge still.
