My bro's speedrunning now for my birthday speedrun contest (check RE General Discussion if you want details), and has achieved 24mins as of start of Del Lago fight. Is that good for a speedrun? This is his second ever walkthrough.

It might help to use the ditman glitch.

^ I have read about it somewhere. Is this the glitch you triggered with the Striker, and it made Leon walk/run much faster?

 

[Nosophoros]

Yeah, just equip the striker, aim, and quickly press the item button, then just switch weapons. It works until you open a door, get hurt, or finish a level.

Good thing that the high speed is not lasting forever. If I recall correctly it was only Leon that worked faster, not the enemies too. But what about Ashley?

No she still runs the same, but she'll catch up to you if you stop.
