Resident Evil 2 (1998) RE2 beta

[Zombie Enclave]

I recently visited a website with pictures of the beta of RE2! I heard there is many differences!

1. Claire is replaced with Elezla, a 19 year old biker at Raccoon City university

2. Chief Irons is a good guy.

3. Kendo survives the entire outbreak

4. Police station is more open and creepy

5. A RPD officer named DJ is found by Elezla

6. Marvin survives the outbreak (A.K.A. the black zombie found by Clair)

7. LOTS of new weapons

8. All zombies had different races unlike the white zombies

9. The big Alligator can generate smaller alligators

10. Spiders have more attacks and a new spider enemy is added

11. Leon has a different hairstyle and has a basic RPD suit

12. Leon and Elezla can pick up body armor

Btw, Leon is not a prettyboy in this game. He actually looks pretty awesome.

Yea this info is pretty old, the beta version was called Biohazard 1.5. Playstation museum apparently got the only copy on disk they uploaded some gameplay to youtube.

I remember viewing info on 1.5 awhile ago. Super interesting. William is also able to speak alittle. Although im happier with his final design, it would have been kinda cool if he spoke a little in the published RE2.

Elza also has no relation to Chris. I like the thought of a sibling it's a good touch.

Im gonna hit the lotto one day and pay capcom to make me a copy, because though im happy with 2, I would love to play this scratched piece as well. I would love to play 3.5 for that matter.
