Revelations 2 RAID MODE discussion thread

I have a friend who is interested in playing Raid Mode but not the story mode. Would he need the full game to play Raid Mode co-op online, or could he just get a chapter?

buying chapter 1 will get you enough missions to play up to lvl 50. after that playing the missions will get boring as your character will be over the level and easily overpower the enemies. so yes the whole game is needed if you want to continue with more interesting missions without letting your character overpower the units.

Is anyone else having trouble with RE.net? Everytime it tries to pass the information after a raid mode session it says RE.net is not available. Every time. Is that a common problem, does this happen to everyone? I have no trouble with REHD or RE6 so is it just my copy?
 
Nearly got a character to a 100! Finally!

My levels right now are:
Claire - 91
Jill - 66
Moira - 49
Gina - 23
Albert - 18
Barry - 15
Leon - 14
Hunk - 13
Pedro - 9
Alex - 9
Chris - 6
Neil - 6
Gabe - 5
Cipher - 4
Evgeny - 1

Getting Claire up to 100 then going to level Alex and Cipher up. My badaas top 3... Until Ada is released then bye Cipher
 
I have been working too much to get really into the grind. I barely got Claire to level 12 yesterday. I want to put more time in but it's hard to start up when I'm at work all day. At least I can pay for it.

If you don't mind me asking where do you work ? and I have had similar problems I sometimes get to tired after work I end up not playing even though I really want to lucky I got a bit more time now than a lot of people do so I can play a bit more really wanna get most characters levels up on raid mode.

all the time !!!! I love the this game like crazy, but the servers are the worst i have ever seen for a game !!!
 
Okay, I just leveled my first character (Moira) up to 100, and... nothing! No rare weapon or part, no gold, no gesture, no outfit, no message from the Overseer, not even a Steam achievement. You get some kind of reward for every little thing, but not for that? Weird...

By the way, in case anyone is interested in how my Super Moira is doing, this is her at the moment:

Weapons: Assault Rifle AK-7 (shouldn't it be 47?) level 95, Shotgun TAP194 [Speed Shot] level 96, Rifle M1891/30 level 82 (I hope I'll soon find a higher level rifle in the game instead of buying it in the shop), Magnum Anaconda level 96

Active Skills: Exploding Bottle, Stealth Cloak (inherited from Hunk), Rocket Launcher (Jill), Coat of Armor (Chris)

Passive Skills: Samurai Sword (Cipher), Melee Master, Health Up, Evade Extension (Jill), Can't Catch Me (Jill), Armor Up (Chris)

But I'm not done with her yet. Not all skills are on the highest possible level. As soon as they are, Super Moira will be invincible! :eager:

Tax prep to help people who don't speak english. i usually work on video editing and motion graphics but i do this seasonally to make a bit of exra cash.



by the way, are there unlickable custumes for the other characters or is it only the for those 3?
 
I got Claire up to lvl 100 today and was kind of dissapointed when I didn't unlock anything either! I keep playing code red missions but only getting green, blue, red and black parts... No purple or rainbow yet so no level 100 guns for me yet :(
 
And I thought I was cool with my level 12 Gina :(
But in all seriousness I got this game on Friday (I preordered it and that's when it came) and it's pretty awesome thus far. I'm halfway through chapter 3 in the campaign so I'll spend more time with raid once I finish it, but first impressions are quite positive (except for the lack of outfits for non-main characters and the lack of diversity with melee moves, but those are the only negatives so far)
 
Had to kill 3 Napads and a Revenant with a knife last night after running out of ammo with only a slither of health

I think i was about 22 which was the recommended anyway.

I was playing as moira so only had two gun slots anyway
I take a handgun and a sniper rifle



So, I've came across 1level from revelations
And 2 levels from revelations 2 so far
Are all of the levels really re6?

Well, that's one of the hardest stages. But if things get rough, remember that you can die and use a life crystal. You will still get the completion medallion.

And yes, there are maybe three or four maps from Revelations 1 and a few more from Revelations 2 (most of them in later gauntlets), the rest is RE6.
 
I love raid mode but something has slightly dissappinted me on terms on the levels.

The "throwback stage pack that came with the disc or if you got it by download"
I feel like the title is unjustified.
It has 3 levels from re6 and one from rev1
The base game has levels from these games (almost all of them intact)
It doesn't even have 6 levels like every other gauntlet

The only good thing is that the main hall level of the rev1 in that pack is my favourite level so far.
