Well, there are a LOT of mixed opinions on the new DmC game...Whether it's about gameplay, environments, the fact that it's ALREADY being rebooted, and, of course, the silver hair...So are you guys pro or anti DmC...

Personally, I'm all for it...It looks amazing...And I read somewhere that this is a NEW cannon, and that they don't think they're finished with the original already established cannon...So, that being said...I'm pumped for DmC...
 
I'm for it, but at first I was quite angry with the new Dante. They changed so much that it doesn't quite look like the same game, but I guess that's what you're to expect from a reboot. Plus, new Dante is hotter imo...
 
After watching the E3 trailer I'm actually looking forward to it now. I mean before I wasn't taking much notice of it. Just seen some screenshots and that. I'm diggin' that Dante is half angel and half demon :)
 
I have mixed feelings about it. Dante has a completely different personaloty and physical aspect.
I think they should make this character a different person, like Dante's son or something...
I like the gameplay though, looks like an evolution to DMC3 (i didn't play DMC4).
I wish they could bring back that horror feeling from DMC1, that's why I became a fan of the series and I'd like to see it again.

DMC3 was by far the best, but you really should try DMC4...Very worth it...And the developers said this is supposed to be a darker, more gothic styling...So perhaps we'll see more of that horror element...
 
I like all the dmc games, I even enjoyed playing through dmc 2. But the story in that game was absolutely terrible xD

I didn't think DMC4 would be good because it's a new character and the gameplay looked bad overall.
I might try it but I didn't enjoy the demo xD

I would actually like to see Lucia again. I know she didn't have much character development but I like her style. And she looked like a nice girl...

The new character, Nero, is actually pretty cool...Dante is in the game as well...And i think Nero's go in half cocked and don't think ahead attitude really counters Dante's Calm, collected, and casual attitude...Also, the gameplay is just like the other games only with more possible combos and abilities...All in all, I really do think the game is worth it...Besides, it was nice to see Trish again...

I bought the PS3 some time after it was out so DMC4 was already an old game and I didn't bother much, just played the demo and since I didn't like it, I just forgot about it. Someday I have to get the game and give it a try.

I am so sick of hearing about DmC and all the people who think it looks so cool. People can like whatever they want, but I don't understand what people see in this game. At. All.

*hangs out in corner and makes things awkward*
 
I'll be honest, I'm a fan of DMC, but DmC, it seems to be killing more than fixing what it should be...
I'm gonna say that this new game, will probably be very popular, but it will be known as the killer of DMC...

If I remember, you actually play as Dante for a little bit less than half of the game. That is only counting the missions, however, and I'd imagine Nero takes a lot longer.
 
I used to limke DMC 1 and 2 when i was like..... an angst ridden teenager...

But as far as the new **** goes... the game blows... Dante blows.... and infact...everything to do with DMC blows.

Dante is trying to be Alucard and Vincent Valentine rolled into one.
 
I'm a fan of the first one only. I tried playing 2 and it quickly soured. I haven't touched another DmC since.
 
I always played the Devil May Cry games because I liked how Dante was :) He was a "REAL MAN" with some demonic powers at his disposal :) But after I saw that new Dante and saw that he has been changed from the real man into nothing but a stupid emo Twilight flick, DMC was dead to me, so as always, this new DMC, Crapcom and Ninja Theory can go F**K themselves up the ass!

Dante is off my all time favorite characters list and this awesome character and her game has taken his spot:)

Let me put it this way:
I wish there was a third poll option for indifferent.

It's a game that's in a genre that I happen to like.
Do I think it'll be one of the best games to come out in that genre? No.
Do I think it'll be one of the best games to come out in the series? Possibly.
Do I think that it'll be good by any standard? I don't know. I won't pretend to know anything until it comes out.
