I've seen green herbs and red herbs in this game, but never blue herbs.
I've never once encountered the poison status, even though there are snakes in this game as well as spider-type things and other creatures that look like they could be venomous.

Does the poison status occur on harder difficulty settings, or has it been completely left out of RE5?

If so, then it kind of seems useless to have red herbs if you can't mix the whole package. They might as well have left out herbs all together and just stuck with first-aid sprays, hmm?

They even removed the yellow herbs... Damn it! I loved those yellow herbs. I want to work hard in filling up my maximum HP than have a permanent one throughout the game. :(

Blue herbs had disappeared already ever since RE4... But it'd be nice to have them back though, imagine an RGBY mixture... Godly healing item lol. :p

As Levan said, the blue herbs have been gone since RE4.

There is no more poison status, therefore no need for blue herbs. Too bad, that's my favorate color.

I could kinda see why they got rid of it though, I was hardly even poisoned in the old games, it wasn't a constant occurence to begin with.

Although I disagree about the red herbs, they are still very useful. They turn regular herbs into a formula that will heal you completely instead of partly. Why leave that out?

I never actually played through RE4, I just watched my bro play a few bits and pieces on his game cube. But I thought the snakes did actually poison you and that you could pick up blue herbs... guess I remembered it wrong, I'll have to have a go at RE4 myself some time.

I think red herbs were most useful in outbreak, as doctor-type characters could mix them into anti-coagulant pills to stop the bleed status (which I thought was also a cool idea and should have been used in other games)

Also, in other RE games they let you mix up to 3 green herbs into one bundle for healing yourself up. In RE5 you can only mix 2?

And I'm also ****ed off that they don't let you stack herbs if you find one when your inventory is full, and they don't let you instantly heal yourself either, which was a life saver in previous games.

Resident Evil since 5 they is no more 'infection', on resident evil 4 there was but you could do nothing, only in the end of the game you take out the las plagas from Ashley and Leon organisms.

Since there is this, there is no need for a blue herb.
