Resident Evil Zero Please help. Think I've messed up (The Lab). - Possible Spoilers

Hello zombie killers,

I'm at the part in the game when one of the characters goes through the hole in the roof of the library in the laboratory.

I've sent Rebecca through the hole & she's opened the hidden hallway with the red chemical needed for the leech capsule.

Now, I have the green chemical, what I can't seem to do is get Rebecca back through the hole so she can mix the green & red chemicals together, nor can I find a way for Billy to contain the red chemical to send up to Rebecca.

I can't find a solution for this online, the only solution I can see is if you've not got the green chemical. Have I messed up? Or am I just missing something?
