What's grating my cheese is that the PS2 part of the official PS site says I can add PS2 trophies and things to a PSN account - so I set one up but it seems I need a PS3 to be able to do anything

Help?

im not sure, maybe send them a message or visit their FAQ's

It's all just so confusing, stupid new generation consoles that I can't afford :\

And stupid website for saying that I could get trophies with my old console
