Resident Evil 5 played

I only completed resident evil 5 , I didn't play other version of resident evil before.I think the story is very interesting, and I want to know more.Do you think I should play the previous versions?
Also, is it I can't have new DLC content for my PC version?I really want to play the new mission!What had happened that night Jill fell down with wesker?I just want to know more about the story, the best part of this game is its story and background,like a 3D animation movie.
lol I suggest if capcom don't make new resisdent evil game, they can start making a 3D resident evil movie,I'd love to see that.

It's good that you have played RE 5 as a stand alone game. I think it's the only way to understand its true value because you don't judge it by previous titles.

There are a lot of files that you can read in the library section about the history of RE or you can try the resident evil wiki. If you want more though I would suggest you you to play RE 4 because it's the one that is more similar to RE 5. The rest of the titles aren't that action oriented but have a survival horror approach(fixed camera angles, puzzles, auto-aim like option). Still though I think that RE 4 won't give you much backround information about RE 5. So if you are up to play the other previous games I would suggest you to play resident evil 1 REmake or resident evil code Veronica. Hopefully this forum will help you to make your decision.

The DLCs for RE 5 haven't been released for the PC version and I think that Capcom refused to answer that question, so I don't know if they're going to release them or not.

If RE5 is the first RE game you've played, the earlier games, the first three in particular, will be very, very hard to play through... They're not bad, just very antiquated.

You DEFINATELY need to play the originals. You have no idea what you are missing.


RE5 is a great game but since you only played that one, the older ones will be VERY different for you.

I am now playing RE4, I finished RE5 in about 2 days, I am playing RE4 for 2 days but still long way to go lol , its alot more difficult, especially you must save your game in typer, also the envrionment and mood are alot more scary than RE5! I guess the gameplay in RE4 is alot longer than re5..the music is also quite scary sometimes.I am playing normal mode but still feeling hard.

Wait Till You Get To The Classics. It's A Challenge But It Is More Than Worth It.
