Next Gen Game Consoles

Well...With the WiiU announced, and Sony tossing ideas back and forth for the PS4...We all know that new systems are soon to be released...But what ones will you guys want?

Nintendo's WiiU
Microsofts new rumored system
Sony's PS4 (Still in the brainstorm section of creation)

God, if the rumor that next-gen consoles will have some anti-used games DRM is true, I'm done with gaming. That's ridiculous.

I Wouldn't Say I'd Be Done With Gaming But I Certainly Wouldn't Be Buying As Many Next-Gen Games Because That's Stupid. I Like The Smell Of A New Game But Sometimes Used Is A Better Option For Me Because My Funds Are Limited.

I have zero interest in the WiiU until there's some earth-****tering Mario or Zelda game.
Or an amazing looking Metroid game.

Also, lol@no backwards compatibility rumor for the PS4. The HD Collections for the PS3 (and sometimes the XBox360) were nice because it upgraded old PS2 games to HD.
Every f*cking PS3/360 game is HD. What's their excuse this time? Will we get 1000080p TVs by the time the new consoles role out so we can play "The Uncharted Higher-Definition Collection"?

I want to laugh and cry at the same time. I don't want any console where I must be online and can't play used games. Now Sony and Microsoft becomes the pirates and we becomes the victims.

I never prefer second hand games but sometimes that is the only choice when I buy old games. But even though I'll buy new games, I can not accept to not have the opportunity to play used games. If they take the choice away from me, to Hell with them, I don't want their shenanigans! But I'll probably buy a PS4 some day if they come to their senses and scrap this idea.

I can always skip next generation altogether and play on PC.

But who needs a next generation console when the PS3 and the 360 are as good as they are? The only thing they lack is surround smell.

There's no information on it yet.

And more likely than not, it'll be just like Brawl but more fan-service (I want zero-suit Princess Zelda.)

Could this be a PR stunt just to get publicity? This kind of restriction is so horrific that I'll look at any possibility for it to be untrue. Maybe they are not sure about this and want to test out the reactions. And get lots of PR at the same time.

Is it just me or the WiiU is just a sale-up of Nintendo DS mixed up with the old Wii?
The only game I'd like to play in the WiiU so far is the ZombiU, it looks fun and somewhat realistic.

I don't like the fact that you can't play the same game in different accounts, that's ridiculous. I would never buy a console like that, and I think most people wouldn't.
Just think of theconsequences: if you lose your account info you can't play the games you bought (imagine you already have a pretty decent collection...); you can't grab a game from your friends, even if it's just to try it out (and if you like it buy it later); you couldn't buy used game you couldn't find anywhere else, etc.
Now imagine a group of people share their accounts; they could play each others games and only one copy of each game would have been sold...
This has makes no sense at all.

The only thing tiding me for Wii U is Smash Bros and a new mario when they decide that. After the Wii experience, the novelty of the controller wears off and i just want to play with a normal one. They do have the pro controller which is cool but is that seperate? I also guess that 3rd party developers won't produce games on the Wii U or buffer stuff down because of outdated tech(like the Wii).I don't really care for the features, in the end i just wanna play the ninty mascots.

If they produce more Gears of War games for the next xbox well that is gonna be a biggy for me. Haven't really dug the playstation scene since PS1. Will just have to wait.

Well...Ubisoft has announced games for the WiiU, as well as a new Ninja Gaiden, though I'm not sure what developer that is...Nintendo said that WiiU is going to be better made for hardcore gamers, while still throwing a bone to the casual gamers...After all, the Gamecube and N64 were aimed at hardcore gamers, as well as several titles for the Wii were games for the more hardcore gamer. Whether people just forget, or don't want to admit I'm not sure...I honestly think the WiiU is shaping up to be much different than any console we've ever seen so far...Plus, I think Nintendo is finally getting serious about online play...

Hmmm... This could be a make or break for me. Before I read the article I would've said Ps4, no question, but needing to be online to boot up a game is ridiculous. I can almost look past the new game thing, but what if its not possible to be online for whatever reason? I don't want my Ps4 to be obsolete if my internet goes out. If this is the case, I may just stick with Ps3 until Ps5 is released or something. I will not buy an X Box and I'm not interested in the new Wii.

Well i never played Ninja Gaiden 3 but apparently it sucked really hard. Imo all the main Nintendo classics are hardcore games..Mario, Zelda, DK, Kirby. But it would just suck to see for example a Red Dead Redemption 2(in my wildest dreams) and then they have to buffer it or not release it on Wii at all.Even the big ones like Call of Duty, Battlefield etc. That is the main tickle ,equal support for Wii U.

Yeah people do forget how Ninty was before the Wii and Nintendo certainly has balls with everything they do. But i just have a feel that pausing the main game to look at the ipad, and back, its gonna get old. And i bet your ass alot of peoples mates are gonna get jealous with your big king throne pad while they use some ****ty old remote, resulting in some brawl over the pad. Hope they do good online play.

i'm honestly really happy with my xbox at the moment, and i think there's plenty left to explore with the current gen, i honestly see no need for them yet..

These people have to lighten up and actually try something that's new and classic i'm currently happy with my PS3 and Wii
The more they build i swear....it's just not a positive vibe let's just say that

I'm not interested in any new consoles atm. I'm happy sticking with my 360, ps3 and pc ofc :)
