I cried and prayed and cried some more, but nothing can bring back those loving children :( I live in this town, never thought our small beautiful place would be known for this, the world is really coming to an end :( God bless everyone and be thankful for ur lives... because life is a precious thing, hug ur loved ones tight

I didn't know you were from Connecticut... I can't imagine what this is doing to your community. It's so horrible and that's really such a vast understatement, there's really nothing anyone can say when things like this happen.

This kid didn't even have a reason. There were motives behind the Columbine Shooting and Virginia Tech, but this kid just wanted to kill his mom so he brought down 30 children with him. What an asshole. He deserved to die, no, suffer for his actions. A bullet through the head doesn't do enough justice.

It saddens me when a fellow human being thinks it's a good idea to kill a bunch of people. I hope the f***er is burning in Hell. I feel bad for the parents to have their kids taken so close to Christmas.

Wow, I haven't had an opportunity to address someone personally as of yet--thank you for this.giving me that chance.

I'm so, so sorry this had to happen. My heart was deeply saddened when I learned of what transpired yesterday, and I really hope the best for your community. I'm not very religious, but I pray nothing like this ever happens again. May whatever you believe in bless you...

no one I love was hurt thank god. I do have a little sis but she doesnt go to that school, And yes most ppl think i live in NY but that is just my birthplace, I actually live in Newtown. thank u all for your prayers and support; I am very grateful you all took the time. I never would of thought my town would be involved in this mass murder!! my school colors are on the Empire state building for Christs sake! and the president is visiting my high school tmrw to talk to the community, it will be live. one after another! we just had a huge storm and a few weeks ago a boy from my town died; now we have this insane act of brutality!!? I just got back from college to come home to a town of sadness and zombies, the ppl are lifeless, there are news cameras and photographers everywhere and we cant get a break. we are all coming together as a community, so that is a good thing. I was just at the church today where I said a prayer; i started crying and this random women gave me a hug, its acts like that that bring a small town together, but for a tragic reason. I think what happened will revolutionize the world and its security. gosh, the end might be near....:(

I can't help but feel equal parts disgusted and saddened for the families left in the wake of this shooting. Forget the gun law discussion, forget the violent media discussion, forget political slants, forget what it says about our society that these things even keep happening; All that really matters is that those families were forever destroyed. No-one should ever have to go through anything like this.
