Operation Raccoon City Need Advice

Hi guys, I purchased RE:ORC on the PS3 a few days ago, and although not as good as the other RE games, i still enjoy playing it. but i have a problem...

cannot zoom in for more than 2secs.. after that is just does like a rapid zoom in out thing (like a mw2 qs)
when my team mates fall i cannot revive them, nor can i enter a chopper in suvivor. X just wont work..

i have tried my controller on other shooter games, racing games and everything works fine. no zoom issues or X issues. i have tried dissabling auto target and snap to, and tried switching the back buttons around but it's made no differnce. I have only found one other comment with the same problem on yahoo help. but his problem remained unresolved.

I would really apreaciate some help and advice on this, becuase atm im having to hipfire and look like a lemon when i have to tell team mates i carnt revive them, and "no.. im not being a rambo outside of the chopper... my X just wont work" lol

I hate to say it, but its probably the controller. I know you said it works on other games, but i had this very problem and it corrected when i switched controllers. and the one that ****ed up was a perfectly fine PS3 six axis.

Thanks for the reply, I've sorted the problem now. I took the disc back to cex and so far everything is working perfectly fine

If anybody else has this issue; the only cure is a new disc.
- deleted game data: failed
- brought new ps3 controller: failed
- mailing Capcom: failed
- took the disc back: sucsess

Conclusion:
Don't waste money ringing capcom, there no hope, and deff don't waste £43.99 on a new controller like I did.. Just take the disc in for replacement.

Now! On to enjoy the game! XD
