"We revealed back in January that Ada Wong would appear in RE6. Capcom still hasn't officially confirmed Ada's presence in the game (even when we asked), but this trailer gives us a more extensive look at her. While we don't know Ada's exact role quite yet, it's safe to say that she remains a spy and double agent as in previous Resident Evil games. With Sherry Birkin making a return (which we also confirmed back in January), it makes sense that Ada is involved. Both characters were prominently featured in the events of Resident Evil 2, and Capcom has stated that the past of the franchise will play a role in its future.

In the trailer, Ada seems to have some kind of influence over enemies. At one point she's surrounded by J'avo (image #01, above) and appears to be in charge of the large monster that's attacking Jake (#02). Can she somehow control enemies? Are Chris and Leon fighting over her at the end of the trailer?

The chrysalid seen here seems to house some kind of major new enemy, and our sources tell us it's one of the key plot points of RE6. While we don't know what comes out quite yet, the open chrysalid does appear to contain a human, or at least something human-esque. Is it a new character? A new type of enemy? Or is it just the giant creature from the game's first trailer? We do know there are multiple chrysalids. Precisely what causes this mutation, and whether it needs a host, remains to be seen.

One key detail regarding the chrysalid(s) - it appears Ada Wong understands how they work. When confronting Chris Redfield's BSAA squad, Wong detonates some sort of 'needle bomb' that infects Redfield's crew, turning them immediately into terrifying creatures. This process seems to be a very quick mutation, meaning the slower gestation that the trailer suggests might simply be the result of editing. We've previously speculated this event is what causes Redfield to act differently, further lending support to the notion that Leon and Chris clash over Ada's fate.

The scary beast (#05) is the carrier of the C-Virus. While full details on the virus haven't been revealed, it's distinctly different than the T and G-Viruses of previous Resident Evil fame. As seen in the trailer, the "carrier" is able to secrete a gas that converts people into zombies.

C-Virus zombies (#06) are more mobile and agile than Resident Evil zombies we've seen in the past. RE6's zombies will sprint toward you, leap and can even carry weapons if they were holding them when they were converted. The C-Virus may have more specific applications than turning people into zombies, though its further uses are currently unknown.

The shadowy figure seen here is one of the trailer's biggest mysteries. It's too difficult to see this character to draw any concrete conclusions, but he seems too important to ignore entirely. Resident Evil 6's latest trailer is deliberately misleading at points, so this character may not be what he seems. Is it a disoriented BSAA soldier? Is it simply Chris after he hits his head in the trailer? Is it some kind of tyrant or zombie? The answers remain to be seen.

Despite theories to the contrary, the man above (image #09) is notAlex Wesker. Our sources have confirmed that this character has never appeared in a previous Resident Evil game, but that he's a major player in RE6 (perhaps even as important as Ada Wong).

According to our sources, this character is Derek Simmons, a National Security Advisor pursuing multiple agents. Throughout RE6, he'll interact with all of the major players, including recruiting Sherry Birkin and tracking Leon Kennedy. Simmons has his hands in everything that's happening in Resident Evil 6 and surely holds many secrets of his own. "

It would have been better if you has just posted the link xS
I don't like the plot with this new villain which is the leader of the governmental agency and is the councellor of the president.
This plot is the same as Morgan Landsale's. Is Capcom so lazy that they had to copy the villian from their last game?

I'll just get right to the ass kicking!
I still refuse to believe it's Ada, I dont want to see one of my favorite Anti-heroins turn into a full villain

Yes, I know. But conceptually, from what I read in the IGN article, it's almost similar to Morgan. I hope I'm wrong.

it would be better for the Mystery Man (a douche-rich-guy) is Alex Wesker.
as if anyone who knows better about viruses, and so on, it's Alex.
for Alex who used to lead Project W from time to time, also the one who betrayed Spencer and took results upon his "immortality" research, definitely a perfect role for leading the third organization in RE6 (that was mention in the previous RE games).
and also, he's the one who hired Ada to look for Jake. as if anyone who knows about the Wesker "special blood", only those who used to be involved with Project W especially Spencer and Alex.
Ada wouldn't simply know that Jake is Albert's son, unless if the man who hired her can give a really solid proof. as I said early, only Alex would do all of this.

or maybe let's just say this rich douche bag is Derek Simmons, from NSA. he's using Sherry Birkin for his benefits. Government + Sherry = Albert Wesker(?)
based on Albert's report, do you remember that Albert hired someone in the government? to monitoring Sherry Birkin that Albert believes that she might be useful for his own motive.
if this Derek was the one that Albert hired, he might know about Albert's biological son (probably Albert give the information). so Derek hired Sherry to escort and ensure the safety of Jake Muller who have special bloodtype. surprisingly Sherry's father used to be a research partner with Jake's father - Albert.
when Jake knows who exactly his father is, it might gives a possible plot twist that Jake been escort by Sherry that hired by Derek. so it's betrayal upon betrayal.
