Resident Evil 7 My Resident Evil 7 plotline (Jill and Claire vs. Alex)

Here's my RE7 plotline. With the Jill e-mail to Barry, the cliffhanger from RR2 and Jill's still-to-be-explored fallout from RE5, I think this is too good to pass up for RE7 as far as a potential storyline:

-Per the e-mail to Barry, Claire and Natalia (and possibly Moira) accept Jill's invitation and attempt to meet with her at a BSAA testing facility, fresh out of rehab. However, upon their arrival, Barry and Co. learn Jill's been transferred to a psychiatric ward after being blacklisted from BSAA. We soon learn, through therapy sessions, CCTV tapes, etc, that Jill has been diagnosed with a mental illness (Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, whatever) after suffering from flashbacks as a result of her ordeal with Wesker. However, we soon learn these visions are part of a whole bigger picture as she swears, up and down, to her fellow (now ex)-SSAA colleagues to actually seeing Wesker, who continues to prey on her. They, of course, reassure Jill that Albert is dead (insert clip of of Wesker's head being blown off at the end of RE5 here) and declare her mentally ill, diagnosing her as having suffering delusions of grandeur, which leads to her dismissal from the BSAA.

These images become a focal point in the game. At various intervals throughout each chapter you play as Jill, you are met with hallucinogenic images of Wesker (just like the hallucinations of Joker appearing through Scarecrow's Fear Toxin in Batman: Arkham Knight) taunting her at every turn. Alex uses these hallucinations of her deceased "brother" and other deadly traps, each filled with demonic/nightmarish imagery, to torment Jill in an attempt to "break" her mentally all throughout the game.

At one point in the game, after Jill escaped from the ward-in which she must battle through cells randomly opening, revolving doors, zombies/BOWs breaking out of gurneys in order to get to her, shadows approaching her on both sides of a hallway, and other jump scares-she meets up with Barry, who finds "Natalia" after she went mysteriously MIA again through any number of horrific scenarios, when suddenly, a series of deadly contraptions is set off. These can include ghastly/hallucinogenic monsters, zombies/BOWs coming out of imprints in walls, monsters popping out of trap doors opening in the floor, something we've never seen before. And, just to show how f***ing batsh*t crazy and sadistic Alex is, the Red Queen computer can make a comeback and have an avatar just like in the movies, only instead of it being a hologram of Dr. Ashford's daughter, it's a hologram of a demonic Alex's face (which she transferred into the RQ CPU), which randomly pops up on monitor screens as you progress through the level. If done right, this would be scary as sh** and come a long way to put the Survival Horror back in RE while cementing Alex as a true BA. Think of the demonic Laura from the ending of Unfriended (pause it @ 1:25, if you dare ).

Then, at the end of the stage, when Barry is reacquainted with Natalia, push comes to shove as "Natalia" attacks Barry, who then shows her true colors as she shapeshifts into Alex's body, having taken over her. The game then turns into an all-out quest for Jill to face her demons head-on as she sets out to find and kill Alex once in an attempt to stop her from unleashing the T-Phobos virus throughout various parts of the world while also earning back her stripes. Alex tests Jill (and Claire)'s mental and physical endurance as she faces more unique series' of traps in her thirst for vengeance against the Weskers for all the agony they've caused her dating back to RE5. She, along with Claire (who are teaming up for the first time ever), must battle through nightmarish levels (bordering on psychological horror) and horrific hybrid B.O.W.s created from a mixture of previous Umbrella specimens (Tyrants, Hunters, Plaga, Uro, etc), each modified by viruses seen throughout previous games (C-Virus, G-Virus, Uroboros, etc.), all throughout the game in their quest to put an end to the Wesker's reign of terror.

As an added bonus, Jill could even create a modified version of the P90 virus Albert Wesker gave her, which makes her both aware and in control of her actions while giving her advanced speed and reflexes, and uses it to fight an upgraded version of the Alex (his "sister") from Revelations 2. That would be a fun, unique game-ending twist methinks.
