Technically it was more or less about The Family in his case. Of course Leon was the poster boy. He's considered the most popular and recognizable protagonist in the series even though most of his stories are a separate arc from the main plot point. Not to mention it's an even numbered title so Leon HAD to be in it by tradition.

Ugh! This sick love people feel for 2, 3 and nemesis is so bizarre...
I hate nemesis and I don't want to run the entire time, I like exploring and looking at the environment, not running away from some overpowered enemy the entire time. Ugh.
And I want Billy Coen and some new girl as I can't really stand Rebecca the entire time.
