i like how they brought back the likers.
as chris is unfamiliar with these creatures,but i think it would have been cool to have hunters in the game as well,as chris delt with them in the past. what do you guys think?
 
YES, I think the licker in RE2 is harder to beat. RE2 licker will run to you even if you are far away from them. However, the licker in RE5 is not nothing when you are far away from them.
 
Not the Hunters... those things are the ones that dismember you when your on low health... haha wait what Am I saying bring on the pain haha They should have been in RE5 I agree!!

And yes your right about the lickers not running fast towards you but... Do you know how many there are on hard mode? It would make the game very hard to stand if 5-6 lickers started running towards you everytime they were more then 10 steps away haha.

I like em' though, Nothing a trusty shotgun wont take care of, Plus they dont like being shot in the head with a handgun haha headshots gotta love em' Hard to do tho when theres loads lol
 
Hahah that would have been pretty damn hard... I swear you can only kill reapers from shooting the bubble, havnt tryed blowwing them up but I could shoot about a million an a half AK rounds into there face an it wouldnt kill them.. unless a accident bullet hit them in the tummy haha.. which it normle does, sometimes when I use inf ammo I mess around.

Fully tuned Hydra does a nice job! Havent had problems with Reapers ever since, works even better than Handcanon! Im so in love with Hydra!
 
My strategy on lickers.
Spend the 10,000, buy a rocketlauncher, run to the end of the hallway, let the hallway pile up w/ them and KABOOM!...no more lickers.
Play smarter not harder...nyuk

yeah...good point. If i wanted to save the money, I could always do 3-1 over and over, but I usually only buy 'em if I get stuck...like on the lickers...heh
 
I hate the lickers. The cheap ass spear-tongue crap always kills me and there's no way to dodge it. You just have to pray Sheva doesn't mind taking time from her precious vacation in lala land to save you. I don't care how fast you spin the left stick on that controller (I spin damn fast) you won't live to see yourself get free short of being at full health. Then even, sometimes they'll get you down to the ridiculous bleed out crap and one will just swipe you with its claws and there's so many of them you can't around to get healed by Sheva and the AI's too dumb to realize it has to shoot the lickers away to get to you. At least on the harder modes. I haven't played normal or amatuer.

As for reapers... I don't have much of a problem with them. Electric round, unload on first bubble, second bubble, third bubble, dead bug. (Smiles) Actually the first real trouble I had with them was in mercs on solo because I had to worry about dynamite every two seconds.
 
When theres alot of lickers it is kinda hard to run around them, reapers are okay I dont have anytrouble with them anymore...
They sound anoyying on mercs though lol
 
They are. If you're on the bottom floor, it's raining dynamite, then out of fear of running into dynamite, you make stupid mistakes or get stuck in crowds and the reaper gets you. Once I cornered myself trying to get shotgun rounds from a crate, I didn't know the reaper had spawned yet, I turn around and it's blocking the only exit. I hadn't gotten any shotgun rounds for two minutes and all I had was pistol ammo which wasn't gonna help much. So yeah, it can be irritating when you first start out. I find them hardest to kill with Jill BSAA which is a shame because aside from Wesker, I use her the most. It's a breeze with everyone else.
Lickers, I will never like.
 
Man I hate it when it rains dynamite sticks Geez so anoyying... when games have things like that in them I swear its fixxed... coz they just come out of no where when you least expect it really isnt fair when you cant see the sticks landing next to you an BOOM you gotta start tapping the button to regain your health before someone jst swings at yo an kills you....

It's possible to kill the reapers with a hang gun in around ten shots maybe less if your a cracking shot lol. but if there already close to you then forget it haha the game will probaly just kill you for its own amusment lol. I hate how they just randomly grab you x.x instant deaths ruin a good final score...
 
no kiddin' I was gonna have one of my highest scores with Jill on that level and BAM Reaper... come out of nowhere... But I can hear them comin' now... SO COME ON REAPERS! COME GET SOME! EAT LEAD!
 
M93R is a pretty f-ckin good gun... It's just like a machine gun ahaha!! Pretty good for killin' lickers.. infact it's pretty good for killin' anything....
