Let's talk ghost shows...

Harry Sachz

Ancient Alien
Of all the ghost hunting shows on TV, which do you like the most?

I like Ghost Adventures. Despite what I hear from other people, I don't think the show is faked at all. I think everything they catch is authentic. I just saw the episode where it shows one of their first investigations and something picks up a brick and throws it. Freaky stuff. The show's just entertaining and all three guys are cool.

I used to like Paranormal State, but the longer the show went on, the more fake and/or boring the show seemed to get.

On a related topic, have you ever had paranormal experiences you couldn't explain?

The only shows I watch are Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures, but I prefer doing my own investigations.

Yes I have had quite a few paranormal experiences. As a matter of fact, I live in a house where a man was murdered.

Yea my life.

I don't watch alot of Tv these days. It's all the same... Fight,Drama, scandal, bad news, celebs and a little bit of boobs n bums... same thing day in, day out. It gets boring.

I'm longing for a paranormal Show that treats it's viewers like adults and not kids.

By this, i mean, a show that will drop the stupid presenter with the deep voice, the silly dramatic music in the back ground and the B-movie style special effects and dramatized scenes. A show that doesn't blatantly ignore science or rational explanations.

Oh, and it would be good for the show to be mostly in a good setting. Instead of watching a green face in the dark most the time that jumps at every little sound. I'd appreciate a show that explained the real reason for them going to '' night vision '' which has nothing to do with the spirit world but viewer ratings and tension. Think i'm getting carried away here.

One of your victims?

The only ghost show I occasionally watch (and I mean, occasionally, like, maybe once or twice a year) is Creepy Canada because alot of those locations are around Niagara on the Lake which is like, 20 minutes away from moi. But other than that no.

I've had a couple experiences of racks flying off the counter but I need rational explanations for everything so I just blame it on my dog. Infact, I blame my dog for the Big Bang theory - and creation as well. It was totally her. Sneaky mutt.

I dont watch alot of them because seriously most come off to me as either someone reading too much into something that's not really there or the show just seems fake, (like Paranormal state). I used to watch a TON of Ghost hunters but when they stopped investigating folks' houses I slowly lost interest. now and again i will watch it though whenever I am lucky to catch it. Also Destination truth, just because they approach most cases as being a complete skeptic and never jump to conclusions.

That's the best way to go about investigating the paranormal. You go at it like a skeptic would.
