Ok. So my computer just blue screened. Twice in a row. Both of them were seconds after I logged on. It decided to work now but I'm just wondering, is this normal? I understand a virus may be causing it and I'm running a scan right now, but just wondering if it means my PC is getting old. Thanks!

I wouldn't say it was normal. This happened to my Fathers computer before. It had virus' on it, and apparently the virus' had damaged his computer and it had to be repaired. Good luck with the scans, Rathit. (nice to meet you)

Don't know man, if you can't boot to safe mode i usually place my bets on being screwed. If google fails then i just use the reboot disc and try to make some new directory thing, if not i just erase everything

Nice to meet you too.

Apparently it only happens when my graphics card fan is refusing to start for some reason. Must be an overheat blue screen and thats why it shuts down seconds after. Think I got it solved.

I don't think that it is normal. The same thing happened to my desktop computer about some time last year. It was doing the same thing you have explained, first giving the BSOD and then work normally. If I can remeber correctly it was because of some kinda of virus.

That's good to hear.

When I just got this comp new, it kept getting bluescreen. Turns out my graphics card driver update was screwing stuff up. Everything works fine now.

Me if my computers messed up, I'm all for reboot's, delete everything and start from strach.

Then again there's only one guy I know who can solve any computer related problem, and he's always avalaible if I can travel lol...

Thank you. That explains all of it, my computer was unusually quiet as if the fans didn't start up.
