Quick question to anyone who's bought the Gold Edition of RE5, is it worth getting?

I've looked around the forum and it appears to have a couple of extra sub-games and a bit extra multi-player, but is this enough to warrent shelling out £40-.

Any thoughs greatfully recieved,
Ta,
K.

(X360, RE5 Original Game, No Downloads - as original disc).

Agreed with Jason; if you don't already own all the DLC and costume packs then it is indeed worth purchasing again.

damn xD i downloaded the addons and stuff like IMMEDIATLY ...if i knew there would be a NEW RE CD xD id have waited and baught dat :/ anyway ...bla

i agree with jason tho

I did buy it, and I think it is worth it, because I would buy it anyway, and it has a badass cover.:)

Otherwise, it just gives you a stupid token to download the stuff, like you would for DLC anyway...great job Capcom.

I assume it was my xbox, but for some reason Mercs Reunion will not play, nor will the extra figures. It just says that the disc is unreadable, so I popped in my original RE5, and it still won't work, so it wasn't the disk, and despite my own personal problems with it, it was definately worth it.:)

personaly, just get the original game and download the DLC for about $14 , if you had a PS3, then definatly get the Gold Edition, saves on money on the PS3

Unless you are dying to have to case, or your money is just burning a hole in your pocket, then you can probably settle for the DLC for the 360.

The PS3 definately gets the better end of the deal this time around, although I don't think buying the disc would be less expensive than the DLC, PS3 or otherwise...

Look here kiddies... The only point in getting RE5: Gold Edition is if you don't own the game at all. Why? Because Gold Edition is just the game with all the dlc on disc. However, it might just be that the games read as two different games entirely. This would mean any saves or unlockables you have for RE5 might not transfer to Gold Edition. So, if you already own RE5, I'd just buy the dlc.
