Resident Evil 5 Irritated!

I've completed Re5 (among a number of other games) on my 360 and so I get xBox Live for a month free to get a taste....so far so good UNTIL I can't keep all my achievements and have to do everything again!?! How am I supposed to enjoy a game knowing that I've got to start from full scratch again (at least I've upgraded weapons etc on Re5 but no not to play online).


Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr what a silly system, I don't play the 360 too much and only had 4500 G achievement stuf but that's taken me ages to get simply because of work and home life.

Sorry that was a rant (should I have got a PS3.....BUT I hate PS controllers).

Now I'll go and sulk (whilst playing on the 360 - :lol

You lost your achievements when you connected to xbox live?I just looked it up on google and it says a few people have had this problem but its always been because they've recovered there gamertag on another console.

Xbox is just horribly unreliable,one dude said that the achievements aren't gone there just locked away on the internet servers and haven't been properly received onto the xbox hard drive or something fairly technical.

It gives me an excuse to play the games again I suppose, but especially on RE5 it took me long enough to get one tenth of the emblems and now I have to start again!

Wow. That rots. I'd need a big break before attempting to get all my trophies again if that happened to me. ( I have a PS3, incidentally). I back up things like crazy; I'm so afraid of something happening to them!

I've lost all my achievments on RE5 before, but my weapons didnt get deleted so I got half of them back straight away lol but that only happend because I took my xbox hard drive to my mates house I lost my gamertag an had to recover it...

What exactly did you loose, all your weapons? All I know is, If you have created a new gamer profile (a seperate gamertag) then you will have to start new games on all your games, but If you have just activated your account to go online.. I dunno, that would suck if it has deleted your progress. :[

Feng-Hi are you talking about your SpiderRaven account? either way, I'd be well up for helping you get your guns collection back to what it was lol.

That sounds horrible XBox isn't reliable really, stick to PS3 where you can (if only Dead Rising was on the PS3 )

this post just gave me enough reasons to get a PS3 =p~~~

And the xbox is annoying...besides the controller~~~
I mean, once I was saving a game then I accidentally turned it off. When I tried the game again it wouldn't load on my profile or even let me start a new game!!! but it works fine in another file =.=...~~~
Xbox also broke 3 of my disc =.= including RE5 =[~~~

I just stick with PC. But I play PS3 for RE5 or BF 1943.

For me, PS3 and PC are the only machines that I can trust :ninja:

Wii has some weird problems, also the Xbox.... PS3 and PC never got any trouble, only in PC, but hey, Windows is meant to crash sometimes :lol:

I'm that annoyed by XBox Live that I've decided not to subscribe.....and instead...................my wife has paid for a year's membership as a birthday present! Ha ha so now I can feel like I'm not paying Microsoft but still getting the fun!

And I've also decided to replay RE5 before playing multiplayer in case I can get the better weapons etc!

Oh and I've just got myself Force Unleashed so I can chop people up with a lightsaber (OT I know)!

I am now...an online player although not a very good one at that! He he he
