I am pretty sure that everyone knows that there some series getting HD remakes. I want to know how many of those HD remakes that you'll be buying.

For those how don't know, there are a total of 9-10 games getting HD remakes, but that is from what I know so far. Some of the games that will be getting HD remakes are Halo: Combat Evolved, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Resident Evil 4, Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3, Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and maybe a HD remake of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (I don't know if they are, but I have been hearing that they are.) The Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid, and the Team ICO games are going to have their perspective sets with the games on it. I don't know if there are more games getting HD remakes as I only know that Halo, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, MGS, and 2 Team ICO games are getting them, but if there is more then feel free to put it on here as well.

So how many of the HD remakes will you be getting?

I am going to buy most of them. The only one I am not going to get is the Team ICO games since I do not have a PS3.

Team ICO, Silent HIll!!!!! I already have the God of War HD remakes cuz they came out before god of war 3, so i don't have to worry bout that.

I want Silent Hill Collection but its only PS3!I already got 2 and 3 but still i want to play it on the xbox360 lol.

Halo Remake because the original sounds are still in but with updated graphics.Dream come true man.

Resident Evil 4 for sure!Leaderboards for mercenaries man.

But i might have to wait till next year lol

I'll be getting the RE, Ico & MGS HD Remakes. I already have the POP, TR & GOW ones.

I'm hoping they will release a Final Fantasy Collection (maybe FFX, X-2 & XII) in HD and the original Ratchet & Clank Trilogy from PS2 in HD. Mostly cause they are awesome but also for the trophy support lol. I like earning trophies :D

I heard that the 2 Silent Hill games are going to be available for Xbox 360 as well. I think the only ones that are going to be console exclusives are going to be Halo, the Team ICO games, and God of War Origins (Which wesker_awsome brought up) since Halo was published by Microsoft and the other 2 were published by Sony.

I've been hearing its only for PS3, i hope your right! And i would go MGS as well(i really am a sucker for remakes)but it don't got the first MGS so i will pass.

Actually the MGS HD collection is and isn't going to have the first Metal Gear Solid game. I know this may sound confusing, but let me explain. The first actual Metal Gear Solid game can't be in HD since it came out in 1987 back in the 8-bit days. The only thing that they can make it HD is if they improve the graphics just a little bit, but I don't think that would be considered HD. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is the actual first one in the series since it takes 1964 (This is the order that the MGS games are in the Time Period that they are set in. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (1964), Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (1970), Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (1974), Metal Gear (1995), Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake (1999), Metal Gear Solid/Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes (2005), Metal Gear Solid 2: Son's of Liberty (2007-2009), Metal Gear Solid: Rising (Some where in between Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4), Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (2014).).

So basically you are getting and not getting the first Metal Gear Solid game. Metal Gear is the first one in the series to be released, but Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater takes place way before Metal Gear.

I hope I didn't confuse you.

That makes sense, i didn't even know there was an 8-bit metal gear.Well i wanted to play the first one again because i absolutely loved the gameplay and story, maybe its just more of a nostalgic thing, amazing to play as a kid.I played MGS Snake Eater this year but i didn't like it very much, mind you i only played it for like an hour and probably just needed to get into it.

Ehh i might just give it the benefit of the doubt now, i will probably look up some MGS 2 and 3 gameplay.

You're probably not going to like Metal Gear Solid 2: Son's of Liberty. If you loved playing as Snake then you'll probably not going to like it since only about 5% of the game has you play as Snake. The other 95% has you play as Raiden, but Snake does show up a few times during Raiden's mission. But if it's gameplay that you're mainly judging the game then you probably will like it since the gameplay is almost the same as Metal Gear Solid/Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes.

I think you do need to play a little bit more of Snake Eater if you only played it for an hour. It's only fair enough to give Snake Eater another chance since you only played it for 1 hour. My advice is to play it for about 8-20 hours and you may start to like it more the longer you play it.

Honestly, none.
None of them have grabbed my attention in the past, and shiney new HD remakes wouldn't change my mind either (plus I don't have a HD telly)
