I'm trying to answer a couple of questions regarding Resident Evil, but I'm guess I'm having a hard time, since I played only the first two of the series.

Can you please help me with these ones?

1) Why was it Sheva Alomar, who was chosen as Chris Redfield's partner?

2) Which virus did kill the people of Kijuju?

3) Who is to be blamed for the spread of the virus this time? (RE-5)?

ans to Q1 she is the special BSAA agent assigned to that area. and chris takes the mission for jill.

sorry what is kijuju? is it the villages you pass through in the wet lands?

well we see jill has given the virus in the oppening scene of the game and she is under control of wesker so i would blame wesker or tri-cell

I havn'r played RE5, but i think i can answer your questions.
WARNING: the answers contain (minor) spoilers.

1) Why was it Sheva Alomar, who was chosen as Chris Redfield's partner?

Sheva was one of the best BSAA agents from the african branch. One of the reasons was to guide Chris through the area and help him catch up with the situation in that region.

2) Which virus did kill the people of Kijuju?

The population of Kijuju is being used to test a new type of Las Plagas, created by Tricell. They were administrated the parasite and became creatures like the ganados from RE4.

3) Who is to be blamed for the spread of the virus this time? (RE-5)?

Tricell (represented by Excella), being manipulated by Wesker.
