Has anyone else noticed..

Have the rest of you noticed how the Mario Bros. games are one big drug refference...Seriously

1.He eats a mushroom and instantly thinks hes bigger than everyone else...
2.He sees turtles everywhere...
3.His instinct is to jump on the turtles, then throw the shells at dancing mushrooms...
4.The clouds are smiling
5.The world is all colorful
6.He eats a bouncing star and starts TRIPPIN BALLS thinking hes invincable...
7.He's retarded enough to punch bricks...
And finally...
8. He fights a freaking dragon in a castle that has kidnapped his women and talking mushrooms!

Mario...Seriously...The have meetings for characters like you...At least Sonic is just on speed...
 
I honestly think people look too deeply at things like this; it's a video game directed at children who are entirely too young to think about all the references that the game contains. Sure some of the stuff is obvious - seriously, people in Resident Evil take herbs to feel better, mixing different herbs for stronger effects? - but I usually just ignore it. It's a game.
 
Mario was originally supposed to be a shooting game. At least now it's directed at kids.
 
Hey, don't get me wrong...I LOVE Mario...Me and some friends were just messin' around the other day and thought this up as a joke...Figured some people may find it funny, but I guess there isn't a lot of humor on this site...Minus a few good people...

P.S....Didn't know that L...I'm glad it is what it is though....

Lol...Totally right!? There was an Xbox rendition of Tetris, and they were all alive and had colonies and sh-t...Weird stuff...
 
Well that never occurred to me lol.I'm sure its just harmless fun.They probably just created it out of some funny italian guy they met.

On the other hand I highly doubt all these people sat in a boardroom and thought about this thing seriously.Where ever mario goes whether its underwater,pipes,cannons,dinosaurs,space,the beach everyone is screaming for joy..it doesn't make one iota of sense and thats why Mario is the best.Throw him anywhere he works.So maybe ,who knows

Hell, you can even through him in the freakin' Olympics and it works lol...He is SUCH a versatile character...and all he has to say is "Mama Mia!" Gotta love the classics haha...
 
Sims, is another weird one....


You basically spend your real existence, in a virtual existence.........

you ignore your actual phone, and sometimes take a day off your actual work.... just so you can save your virtual one or hang with your virtual friends.....

look at the drug refferances in RE you eat herbs, you think you feel better. You see the snake off of Harry Potter.
I found out its not steroids Chris takes Its cocaine.

Errm, herbs *do* make you feel better. They're used in herbal remedies and the like.

Also, the snake has nothing to do with drugs. It was basically an experiment created by Umbrella. Another one of their B.O.W.'s

Chris doesn't take steroids or cocaine in the games.

I agree fully with this. I've taken multiple days off of school for sims.
