Hannibal movie

Why is it that holy-wood hasn't made a movie based on Hannibal yet? Apparently there is one in development hell, with Vin Diesel directing and acting the role of Hannibal. But Im not sure if that movie will actually get made.


But common! How can there be a 4th Resident Evil movie, but not a movie about an epic ancient world bad-ass?

I would love to see Carthage on the big screen, I would defiantly pay to see that.

I think there are already a movie about Haniball and the romans but i dont remenber the name.
Besides i think that these movies dont catch enough of people attention and they want to make profitable movies.

Yeah, I kinda worded my post in a way to confuse people on purpose.:lol:

But still, Hannibal has been ignored by Hollywood for too long!
