I know what you mean though. When i first watched them old ones they did have me shouting at the screen 'he's behind that door' etc, but now i'm just like, meh. She's gonna get stabbed.

what was wrong with the originals?

I just found it dull, and it felt anti-climatic and not scary. Maybe I should watch it again or something, but it just bored me

That's just me though, and it's the only classic horror I didn't care for. I love Nightmare on Elm Street, The Omen, The Exorcist and all that.

The last time I saw it was a year or two ago so, like I said, maybe I should see it again.
