Guys, cut it out. Seriously.

I've seen several instances of members here snapping at newcomers with very little reason... will it hurt to be nice? If someone asks a question, even if it's a 'stupid' one - just either ignore it or answer it and be on your way. The question about whether or not RE 4 was a first person shooter, all it required was a simple 'no' answer. I don't understand what's so difficult about that. There's absolutely no need to be rude about it - and the next time I see that kind of hostility towards a new member for no reason I will be issuing out warnings.

I don't like playing this card, but I will this once; Sephiroxas and I are the moderators, it's up to us to decide which threads are pointless and which are not. Doing so yourselves only encourages off-topic discussions and adds abolutely nothing fruitful to the thread itself; there is nothing that you can do about a pointless thread - so don't even bother calling one out. I'll see it eventually and I'll lock it if I feel it serves no purpose. So, cut it all out - I'm tired of seeing all the un-called for nastiness.

*claps* agree, and yeah that thread was seriously just damn rudeness.. I know its a forum and you dont actually know the person you are talking to in a personal way, but still you dont have to be rude.. im sure if someone asked you a 'stupid question' face to face the majority of you wouldn't be so quick to snap from fear of getting a black eye.

good point, i wasnt even a part of that thread but still would have offered no meany

Geeez This is worse then the time my parents came into my bedroom and found my hidden stash of condoms inside zippys mouth.

I argree with this. I saw that thread yesterday and that wasen't very polite. He probably didn't know about the game or he could have got it confused for another game. But any way that wasen't very polite and I think that we owe that guy/gal an apology.

Well, I'm tired of having to apologize for people - I used to do it here quite often - I can't count how many times I've had to send a PM out to a new member apologizing for the way they were treated, but I think people here should start to take accountability for their own words and actions and take the initiative to do it themselves. I shouldn't have to apologize for them. That said - I think the individual who asked that question is gone though, I know if I signed up for a forum and was treated like that, I'd get the **** out of dodge too.

What I actually mean't was that the people who were being rude to him should apologize to him.

That is right! lol femme wants the people that mess up to undo there own mess insted of her sending out apology messages, because thats not fare! plus why would anyone stay here if the mod was the only one saying sorry ...

"dude you have the power to unf*** that which is f***ed!"

Yes, I know. What I meant though was that it is usually me (in this particular case it was Romero) apologizing for the things other people say - I'm just not going to take responsibility for that anymore like I use to. We're all big boys and girls now.

Ok. I took it the wrong way. I was thought you was saying something different at the time. Sorry about that.

@T Dot - I think that you should apologize to aintnoscrub. It is best if you don't insult other people. LFF, Sephrioxas, and the admins will ban you for insulting other people.

Excuse me, just a word of advice. Unless you try to initiate an argument you would perhaps choose more diplomatic words.
After all your signature says "Diplomats"...

You get 'em La Femme! I don't understand why folks do this either. It isn't going to do anything but make the newcomers feel uncomfortable. Not to mention it just isn't nice. Some people need a good paddlin' lol.

I knew leaving this open was a bad idea, damn my attempts to be somewhat democratic.

Anyway - my original post applies to everyone. I will not tolerate insults of any kind here - that is against the rules. Everyone just needs to take a chill pill. I'm closing this now, I should have known it wouldn't have worked. If anyone has any questions, concerns, or complaints; please feel free to send a message my way, thanks.

Edit: Reopened for furthur discussion. If you want to comment, please do so maturely.

I quite agree. It only takes two seconds to link to something with the info or to answer a question. Some people get really snotty.

Humans.
They are flawed.
They make mistakes.
Mistakes like insults and rudeness.
It was no surprize to me.
but it is up to you to decide weather or not to lose your short temper at another person.
You cannot choose when and what makes you angry, but you can choose to show your anger.
I hope each and every one of you to try and rise above your own emotions at the expence of other people.

Agreed?
