Generic Rip-Off

wesker_awesome

After a meal there's nothing like a good cigar.
I just bought a generic sixaxis white ps3 controller, it didn't work. I tried searching for a solution on the internet. Nothing worked. I want to know if this has ever happened to you with a generic controller from any system.

Call me picky, but I never buy generic items of any kind. It just isn't a good idea...
My parents always use to get the cheap sh!te, unofficial controllers, It's a bargin.. They break.. the buttons stop working the sticks f-up, after awhile they realised it was cheaper to get official controllers, because they cost £10 extra but they dont break, by that time I was too old for games said my parents lol if your parents bought you the remote thinking it was a bright idea to get some cheap crap, tell em' there being stingy and you dont know what they were thinking spending money on it!

Then again who wants to spend money on there kids all the time xD f that. Sibblings are bad enough for me haha

This has never happened to me...i mean, i don't need top dollar name brands, and i don't mind cheap bargin stuff, but conversley there are some times where the name brands are better...It really just depnds, becauase i've had name brand stuff and generic stuff and its not uncommon for the generic stuff to be even better than name brand...Wal-Mart jeans are a good example...so much better than Hollister jeans...or any super expensive for no god damned reason jeans...

I had Pelican Controllers for my PS1...they always worked great....And Mad Catz actually makes some really solid stuff now....but they're early stuff was pretty much useless.

Generic items like that always tend to backfire. It seems nice cause they are cheaper but that is always for a reason.

Yes, Pelican seems to be alright. I've had rechargeable battery packs for my 360 controllers and they still work like a charm. Anything else, I would steer clear of.

This one doesn't even have a brand. its just says PSIII controller, and theres a bar number on the back of it thats it.

I never like the generic controllers cause I think the designs suck and the buttons are ****ty. I do have a wildfire wired 360 controller for a while now and it's working okay but the triggers just aren't as good as the official.

I hate generic xbox contollers. I love the name brand controlers for ps3 and 360.
