Most countries don't celebrate 4th of July, I actually only know about one country that does. 
But I am enough US patriot to always remember that day, I just have no one to celebrate it with lol. I don't feel a need to celebrate this kind of holidays - not even the Norwegian day (May 17th) - but it works as an excuse to party. And an excuse is all we need, right?

The only notable thing that really happened for the holiday weekend was that work was slammed and I made out pretty well. Oh and we went to watch the fireworks last night. Nothing like a fireworks display to catch the attention of everyone in a small town.

Yea any excuse at all. We don't even have to be celebrating anything lol.

Usually I go down to the river for my hometown's annual Independence Day event. There's food, games, music, fireworks..like a festival lol. I'm not going to be able to do it this year though. We'll probably end up grilling out..maybe drink a little.

We don't celebrate it in the UK. But, Happy Independence day to the USA? (Do you wish someone Happy Independence Day...) either way, have a good one.
