Euthanasia for humans?

Storyofmylife

The watchful protector.
I've been thinking about this subject a lot lately. Should terminally ill humans whom are suffering and in pain have the right to end their own life? I personally agree with this. I feel as though if someone is already dying, and in excruciating pain they should have the right to end their life if wanted. We do this to animals all the time (which I don't particularly agree with in every sense, unless there's no other option and it's to put them out of their misery.)

I personally think this should be an option at hospitals for the terminally ill... Call me insane, but if I were dying, miserable, and death was a merciful act for me at that point, I'd definitely choose it.

Yes, they deserve that right. I'm sure there is a situation out there I could end up in where I would just want euthanasia. I don't care about philosophical or religious implications. If I could see myself wanting to exercise that right, I'm in no position to deny it to anyone else.

I think they should have the choice. Granted, it makes me sad to say it, but a person should have control over their own body. By telling a person that they can't die if they want to, you are telling that person their body doesn't really belong to them. That their life doesn't belong to them. If a person is that sick, do you really want to add that to their plate? I don't. I say, at least give the person the chance to die the way they want to; since they can't decide anything else at that point.

Yes, they should have the right. If that person can make the choice for themself, then they should be able to.
If someone say... knows they have a degenerative illness, then they should be able to make the choice before they get too bad, and when the time comes, the family should be able to help them if they can't help themselves.
I have even said that someone could apply for a license to die, then if they need help from the family, the family have no fear of reprocussions from the law.

If the person is suffering immensely, then I say allow their suffering to end. Should we really get caught upon the politics whilst many have to live and endure every additional second they are alive? No, we shouldn't'. It goes against everything we stand for. If we see someone in pain, we should help them. I don't see any reason to torment someone further when they are on the brink.

Only if the person is terminally ill should we allow euthanasia. If the person is, then euthanasia is the only humane thing to do.
