I'm having a problem with my Xbox 360 and I was wandering if anyone could help me with it. I sent an e-mail to Microsoft about the problem, but I don't think that they will respond to me and even if they did they will probably say "We're sorry, we don't understand your problem."
Here is what's been happening. I'm having 2 problems, a controller problem and an adapter problem.
Controller Problem - It won't connect to my Xbox 360 for more than half the time. I pressed the button on both the console and my controller to search for each other, they did find each other, but the controller will still not connect. Some times if I turn my controller off and turn it back on and the controller the controller will connect, but for more than half the tries they won't connect.
Adapter Problem - I will have my controller attached to my console and when I turn my console on, the adapter won't turn on. I did take it out and I did plug it back in and it did turn on, but my console will not recognize my adapter and if I go to wireless network with the adapter turned on then I will get this message "Please connect a Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter". I did turn off my console, took everything off my console, plugged the adapter back in, turned the console on, and it still gives me the same problem.
The last thing that happened before all this was that the electricity to my house blinked-off for a split-second. I don't know if that contributted to the problem.
I would appreciate it if someone can help me because I can't afford to buy a new Xbox 360, a wired controller, or an adapter at the moment.
EDIT: I just got an e-mail from Microsoft and I should've known that this would've happen. They didn't even tell me how to fix the problems. They redirected me to a Troubleshooting page for controllers and headsets. Apparently they didn't read my message and only read the part about my controller having trouble. So far I may have a solution to my problems and I'm going to try it soon.
