with their razor sharp claws and extreme strength, yes. while the necro's would be able to make relatively clean cuts, the crims would have the strength to make up for their not so great slashing abilities. they'd half tear half slash them apart, not to mention their bite, which is much much stronger then a normal zombies.

Crimson Heads are far more terrifying in my opinion. I'm currently doing a play-through of Dead Space and while scary and through all these intense situations, I feel I have enough power to kill them. Battling them is no struggle.

Crimson Heads however....First time I saw one in-game (granted a few years before Dead Space), I screamed bloody murder. I was in a really tight corridor when suddenly one comes sprinting at me.
