I saw historians were talking about the 9/11 theory on the History channel, so it's not like its something some idiots farted out of their ass and said was factual.
There are a lot of things that just don't add up with 9/11, but I'm not saying it's an inside job at all. All I'm saying here is it's very questionable and I respect the theory, because a lot of it makes sense. (i.e The elevators a few days prior to 9/11 were both being "serviced", but they never found out by whom and it is to be believed (if you are a 9/11 conspirator) that it was in fact the government who planted dynamite within the elevators.) They believe the planes that hit the building didn't cause the fall, but the dynamite that was set off in the elevators did, because if the plane caused the fall the towers wouldn't of fallen so perfectly (they would have fallen sideways, instead of straight down)... almost like a demolition.I'm not saying I believe in this once again, I'm just letting you know about what experts like engineers, historians, and scientists have all put together as theories. I'm not sure what exactly happened that day, I know the terrorists did in fact fly into those towers though, and they are the enemy.

Now what does planes flying into a building have to do with how the building falls? Elevators being serviced? GOOD! Fix those death traps. How is people making sure elevators are working a link to America causing 9/11? I'm not trying to be rude, but people can take any group of random events and link them somehow. And I actually do believe Americans landed on the moon first before the Russians, but that's just me. I don't really see what the use of them faking a moon landing would be.

Just look it up sometime if you wanna know on youtube. I'm sure they have the exact episode on there from the history channel. I'm no scientist/engineer so I probably can't explain this to the extent of it being understandable lol.
I'd hope America and our President from that time wasn't that sadistically evil though. The reason I don't believe this theory to be true is because I, like you, experienced 9/11 and it was a very traumatic time for me. For that to happen by our own American government would be sickening and I would definitely not want to live in this country anymore.
Those terrorists were smart so what *I* believe to be true is the fact that they took their time to calculate how they would hit those buildings so they would go down.

I'm from a town right up Manhattan's @$$ and so 9/11 is really ;_; for me. I would see those towers when I woke up in the morning. That's an interesting point. Just because a person is a terrorist doesn't mean they don't have a brain. You have to be smart to pull off a tragedy like 9/11.

It must have been so traumatic being so close to the towers. /:
I remember the exact day 9/11 happened and my grandmother was up in the air while it was happening. We were really freaking out thinking one of the planes that had crashed was hers because she was coming from Italy. Thank god it wasn't, and I remember seeing the towers before they went down too. (I visit Manhattan every year.) It took us a few years to go back though after 9/11. We went to the site in the financial district and I got emotional, it was so surreal seeing such a huge gap with no buildings there.
And not to sound like a complete nerd or anything, but as you see with comic book villains... They're usually geniuses, and insane. Combine the two and you have a successful terrorist unfortunately.

I remember exactly where I was, and what I was doing, and the smell of my mother's perfume she no longer wears, something days like that will do to you naturally. You remember those days better than any. Also my grandma isn't Italian, she was just enjoying her trip to Italy... unfortunately she's Native American+Irish so we know she doesn't have good luck! LOL Luckily on that day she did.

I must have been the only person on the planet who had no clue what the twin towers were. I was having a driving lesson at the time and my instructor spent the entire 2 hours glued to a portable TV set in the car so I was more than a little ticked off... everyone was going on and on and on about it and then because where I used to live was by RAF Strike Command (until 2007, anyways), we had military personnel everywhere and Chinooks in the sky for weeks afterwards. That freaked me out more than anything else - I didn't understand what had happened in terms of what it meant and there was this expectation that I should be 100% aware of every single possible reason why it happened and who did it and what it meant for America etc. Even in the pub after my lesson, with it all on the TV, people were either saying it was some sort of poor-taste joke or that we were next and it seemed everyone in that instant was a military expert with insider information from Strike Command up on the hill.
My mate's dad was in the air force at the time and she kept saying how he knew all this stuff about what was REALLY going on and that she shouldn't tell me but she did anyway. It was all rubbish though because firstly her dad was a pencil pusher at the lowest level and therefore didn't have clearance to even be in the same room as people in the know; secondly, even cleaners and visitors to Strike Command had to sign the Official Secrets Act to prevent them from relaying anything to anyone not authorised; and thirdly, she was full of it. Nice girl, just very...yeah. Still, she built a home-made nuclear shelter in her garden shed...cans of beans, mattresses lining the walls and her hair straighteners. Sure had her priorities right, I can tell you...

All WWII did was direct resources and labor to war businesses. Those jobs were only created because the government drastically increased its military spending. As I said, that spending ended once the war ended. After that, laborers were then freed up (ie they were laid off, now able to work for other sectors that conforms to consumer demand), spending in general was cut drastically, taxes were lowered, and businesses became more confident in the market since the government wasn't messing things up. The same thing happened in the 1920 recession.

I remember when this ''recession '' hit Britain, the media and joe bloggs were all doing that very tipical western thing of, Who's to blame... the bankers got it as did the government....but little joe average was having a hard time understanding this '' fault '' is in built into the system... Boom and bust is no different to ( breathing )
Whilst most were pointing fingers at bankers and government, the increase in property purchasing went largely ignored... houses started flying up everywhere...as well as super markets. And nobody batted an eye lid.
