Resident Evil 6 Can you give your partner ammo in RE6?

Hey peeps

Just played the demo, and neither myself or my mate could figure out how to give each other items from our inventory like we could in RE5.

Is it even possible, or have they removed that feature?

If its possible. It might not be in the demo version like split screen.
I think they may have removed it though since everyone gets their own items.

Pfft. I hope it's not gone entirely, as i thought it was a cool feature in RE5. Thanks for the info - at least i now know i wasn't being stupid!

You equip it then stand next to ur partner and press the partner button? <-- a guess

Why would you need to give your partner items when you both have the same amount of ammo?
Even though you pick something up, on your partners screen there is still something there for them to pick up (ammo/herb/skill points).

Yea, i noticed that the item your partner picks up could be different from the one you pick up from enemies.

Still I believe u can give ammo, I just never had the need to do it so not sure
