Has anyone played this game and enjoyed it? I was going to buy it but opted to rent instead, and I'm on the fence. The co-op is decent, though most of the people I meet on public games are total douchebags, but the single-player is incredibly dull.

Anyway, if you've played, how far have you gotten, and what kind of gun drops have you had? I'm level 20 right now, going hunter/sniper and then maybe rogue. My friend gave me this orange sniper rifle, so I suppose that's cheating, but I also found a purple shotgun and smg. It seems like everything else is pretty much just vendor trash.

I don't know this game and I don't know if I'm interested. What category of game is this? :)

Its classified as a first-person shooter with RPG elements. There is a leveling system and skills that you choose, as well as random loot drops. You can either play solo, splitscreen, or online co-op.

I'm interested! But I'll need a new pc before I can even think about trying it.

they said it was the addictive role playing game yet the story sucked, the cell shading started to hurt my eyes, and its so linear its just go there kill him go back, go there kill her it never ends !!!

?

Are you talking about something?

Yeah I'm not sure if I like it. There are certainly a lot of things that I can complain about it, but I really want to like it, know what I mean?

The actual gameplay is fairly addictive, but the plot is sorely lacking

it think the cell shading was put there to make the game look different. like so it wasnt just another shooter, yet it fallout was sooo much better if you want a good game like borderlands get fallout 3 its a brilliant game.

I've never heard about "cell shading" before, but now I understands it's a graphical thing.

Yeah, the graphics are a little strange, it took me a while to get used to them. Kudos to Gearbox tho for trying something different.

Nice picture. Is the so called "cell shading" in effect here?

Those creepy creatures could have been in Half Life 2.

I think I now have enough info. I'll not get this game. :)
