Just curious if there's any other gamers that like the RE universe AND the sci-fi shooter we know as Halo. If you have Xbox live I'd definitely like to play with some RE fans! :D

Not gonna lie, I'm uh... (cough) pretty good...

Like really good.

I like halo but i've only played 1 and 2 because i never had an xbox. Then there is youtube filling me up with information. :P

I have to say, they've done a pretty good job on Halo 4.

I'm not the biggest Halo fan (yet at least.) I do like what I've played of 4 so far though. I totally didn't get it just to play with the person I like. Where should I go from there?

Yes. It's all I play. Gamertag is the same as my username. To the letter. Anyone can add me, but I usually don't stay playing with people for long unless they've also got mics.

Also, I pwnd Steve and Angel in Reach when it first came out. Man, that was lulzy. HEY GUYS REMEMBER MY FORKLIFT??????? No?

Well, I do... :(

Thanks for blowing it up, Angel. jerk.

How good is the Halo series? With all the hype from Halo 4 and the movie or TV show or whatever, I've been thinking about getting it.

In short, yes. Yes it is very good. It's one of the best-selling game series of all time and despite falling into the background since the arrival of CoD 4: Modern Warfare, it has maintained a strong fanbase. Halo 4 was voted by IGN readers as superior to Black Ops II in every aspect, which is a surprising change since 2007. Don't even get me started on Machinima and Red Vs. Blue. You can read up on the sales figures and critical reception on Wikipedia here.

Back when the Xbox was a new console with very few games to draw an audience, Halo practically ensured the console's survival on its own by revolutionizing the console FPS genre. To this day Halo: CE is widely considered the best game on the original Xbox. Then Halo 2 set a precedent for console FPS being played online. It was the first. Ever since then, every Halo game has been good in its own way, the story (should you care to follow it) is incredibly deep, and you can teabag. :D I own every single one aside from Halo Wars. I recommend that you buy not only Halo 4, but Halo: Anniversary which gives the original an awesome graphics update. That way you can experience the first game as it was intended... though, admittedly without a multiplayer.

A few awesome things you can do in Halo multiplayer: Grifball, Infection/Flood, Dominion, and more! Then throw in some of the awesome custom gametypes and maps people make in forge mode!

Thanks for the info. :)
I'm going to go on Amazon right now to get Halo: Anniversary, so I can get the feel of it before getting any others.

I like your style.
The original Halo is a lonely, mysterious shooter. You're a super soldier marooned on an alien construct in space. Remember, the aliens you encounter found it just like you did.

Everything about Halo: Combat Evolved aside from the graphics is the same... so when you play, it will play exactly like the original Xbox game... for better or worse. Tapping the back button at any point during the game makes the graphics switch between old and new so you can appreciate the difference.

Hope you enjoy it. And good luck on your journey discovering just what that giant ominous ring in space is. :)
