Just look at the Metal Gear Solid series. "MGS Gaiden" is basically Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. Now, ask yourself, "Do I really want a RE Gaiden?"

Gotta go with REmake on the Gamecube. It was as realistic and gorey as you could get, while still sticking to the true RE formula (before the influence of CoD-shooter-style).
