Aw you have eye problems? I'm sorry dear. Is it hard for you to read posts with normal sized fonts?

When I said spell out the words, I meant typing "right" instead of "rite", "because" instead of "bcuz", and same with other words. Please don't leave out characters because that makes it hard to understand. Many words have proper abbreviations and they are of course okay to use. :)

Lol we crosspost all the time. I see that you have posted two more messages while I wrote this, I'll reply to them now.
Your new sig image is not too large. But why the large fonts? Not everything can be visible at the same time when it's that big, one has to scroll the sig. It's not necessary and it doesn't look good. But I'll let you keep it if it means a whole lot to you.

About the avatar:
If you manage to upload it to Imagechack or another host, you could give me the link and I can change the avatar for you. But it should work to upload it from your computer directly to the forum (and that I can obviously not do for you without sitting at your pc).

Saving a picture can not freeze the pc unless it already has another problem. I can imagine that if it ran out of memory, any simple task could cause it to freeze.
About the sig: I reduced the font size too, because it was huuge. You can make the text larger again, but frankly I don't understand the point, we are not blind.

I've not seen your latest sig change, I'll check it in a moment.

Also, could you please spell out the words? It's not easy to read when you're shortening the words. Thanks hun.
I described some ways of getting an avatar, what method did you try? One or more of the methods I described yesterday? See page two in our chat.
Lol, I have no frikin' idea if that French sentence is good or wrong
Yeah, learning languages can sometimes be an ass. Too bad I have to learn German [IMG]. If I learn both French and German very well, I'd know 5 languages [IMG]
Dutch, Turkish, English, French and German [IMG]

Nah, I'm happy that the weekend started already, almost thought that this week never would end [IMG] I also survived my Economics test and English test (which I didn't even learn!). Now, I have to look forward for the French test, German test and Geographic test [IMG]

What about you [IMG]?
If it was too big? Come on, it was of wallpaper size, 1024x768 pixels.
When it appeared smaller on the forum, that is because the forum software was resizing it every time the page was loaded. That strains the server when it has to resize it to everyone who views a page with a too large image on it.
The maximum limit for sigs are 500x200. If you want to use anything bigger than that, you can do so but then you must hide the image by using spoiler tags. When you use a spoiler, people will see a button that they must click in order to view the hidden content.
This is how you use spoiler tags:
the url to the image here
.

The picture you used can be resized easily by using Microsoft Paint or other photo editing programs. MS Paint is on every Windows system.

If you need help then you just have to ask and someone will help you. I can easily do it, but for a professional result you should ask someone to make you a nice sig in the pinned signature request thread in General Discussion.
I took down your wallpaper sized signature image. Please read the rules on signatures in General Discussion (pinned topic).
Thank you, I'm good.

No the url does not have to start with that, you have to use the actual url whatever it is like. But usually it is http://www
I'm not sure exactly how you did it, but when you want to use an image on a website, you have to right click it, look at the file's properties and copy the url from there.

It is recommended to use a website that is an image host, not just link to any website that happens to have the image you want to use. If the image is on a website that is not a dedicated host, you can upload it to a dedicated image host website, such as Photobucket or Imageshack.

You can transfer the image to the image host in two ways: First download it to your computer and then upload it to the host. The other and perhaps easier way is to simply upload it to the host directly from the source website. Imageshack has an easy way for this, you just click the "url" checkbox as source and put the source url there.

You don't need to link the avatar from a website, you can upload the image to the forum itself if the image is on your computer. I suggest trying this first.
You know how to save an image from the internet onto your computer? Right click the image and save.

Don't worry about being a novice! :)

Happy Thanksgiving! We don't celebrate it here, but thanks anyway.
