    Your Personal RE Game Rankings

And likewise nobody said they wanted an "excuse to turn this into an old games vs new games discussion" so let's not jump to conclusions there either, eh? Regardless, it doesn't need to be stated explicitly for one to see that this is the unwritten rule the three amigos are trying to enforce...

    Your Personal RE Game Rankings

Turo602, the most eye-rolling, unoriginal, and tired opinion among the fandom is the opinion that the only real Resident Evil games were those released during the first few years of an almost three decades-long franchise. I don't understand the mindset of immediately characterizing opinions...

    Your Personal RE Game Rankings

I'll stick up for anyone fairly sharing an opinion and getting chased out of the conversation for it, even if I personally disagree with them. I enjoy hearing what others have to say and considering new perspectives. I wouldn't see the purpose of reading internet discussion boards if I didn't...

    What are you watching?

The Neomorph design is creepy for sure. I think they're the Alien version of that "blank canvas" Michael Myers kind of creepy, with their all-white skin and their vague, featureless faces. I wish we could have gotten to see some of the contortionism suggested in the Alien: Engineers script...

    What's everybody playing?

Replaying Village. RE4R gave me the itch to go back to it. I think the gameplay feels pretty basic, but the atmosphere is fantastic and I could play it for that alone.

Crowbcat's soul vs soulless Resident Evil 4 comparison video

I have to say that the fandom's reaction to Crowbcat's excellent video has been interesting to watch unfold over the past couple days, to say the least. I get the feeling that he's pee'd on the parade, so to speak, and is now bearing the brunt of it. I think reception is split squarely down the...

Crowbcat's soul vs soulless Resident Evil 4 comparison video

A YouTube user has uploaded a fairly detailed (approx. 40 minutes) comparison of the original Resident Evil 4 and its remake. I found it to be an interesting watch. What do you guys think of it?

    What are you watching?

Watched The Super Mario Bros. Movie. I thought it was overall pretty good. I wouldn't consider it a great movie but it's not a bad one, either. I would nitpick about some of the casting and characterization, but frankly the movie is exactly what it should be for its target audience (kids)...

    Sneaking playstyle is impossible?

Admittedly I haven't yet tried a maximum stealth playthrough, so I don't know how much you can get away with when playing the game that way. I hadn't given it much thought until now, but I guess stealth is kind of half-baked in RE4R. I see it as being supplementary to combat encounters, more so...

Resident Evil 4 Remake First Impressions

For what my own completely unsolicited opinion is worth, I halfway agree with the cash grab argument. Not from the interpretation of the term that Turo602 has, where cash grab means low effort, but from a different interpretation where it means low risk. I like the remake a lot and there's no...
