The two versions are nearly identical. The Wii version has some new controls with wiimote+nunchuck and classic controller but it's also fully playable with a gamecube controller. The Wii version is cheaper and much easier to find.

My biggest gripe with the game is the small amount of characters and stages. It's literally just Mercenaries on a cartridge so you would think that Capcom would go all out and fill the roster to compensate. I'd say it's still worth if you can get it for $15-20 but I wouldn't pay more than that.

It depends on the game. 5+6 I did single player once, but never again. Those games are more fun for me in co-op. Revelations 1 I sometimes do Raid Mode co-op with a friend of mine who is also a big RE fan. Weekly Revelations 2 local co-op with the same friend has been a great experience so far.
