If I were to put them in order I would say Joseph, Forest and then Kenneth.

I didn't put Richard down because depending on the scenario, his death could be bloodier in one scenario (Neptune) than in the other. (with Yawn)

And then theres Brad... lol

I think Forest had it worse than Joseph my man...my opinion...but even so...

In the end, I believe it's only logical that Forest was killed by crows. Now whether or not they were entirely the reason is a different story but the ending is still the same, the game even says it: he was pecked to death by crows. He could have been attacked before then and, while he would have most definitely turned into a zombie - which he did in every version but the original - the crows were what did him in.

While being pecked to death by crows is most likely some scary business - I mean I know I almost **** myself when some idiot forgets to close the door to the dumpster at work and a huge @$$ crow flies out at you the second you throw something in it - but being mauled by dogs is a very brutal way to die; I mean they literally ripped out his throat for goodness sakes!

Overall, being pecked to death is scary but dogs eating you alive is brutal.

This would be such a head-**** if it were real - Giant Spiders, Zombie's, warped experimental biological weapons, your closest comrades getting torn apart by hideous creations, a plethora of tasks, death-traps and puzzles - built to hide the dark secrets of a corperations past, conspiracies involving Umbrella, mutated plants, and your C.O. stabbing you in the back. Last but not least, the desperate attempt to escape in time before the mansion goes up in an explosion.

Holy ****. We went on a tangent.. I guess thats just how epic Resident Evil/REmake is.

Great post, Magnolia. And I agree.

Wait, so you sometimes see Crows at your workplace? Sweet.

Well it's not like they're hard to find, they're everywhere. In fact, if you see a black bird around where I live, it's most likely a crow.

Perhaps... Though here in York the only thing I'm likely to see regarding Birds are Pigeons. There was a Crow in my garden once though. They're big considering you might not expect them to be large (like Eagles, Vultures) You might expect them to be the size of a Pigeon or Black Bird but they're huge. The Crow that I saw in my garden hopped from the ground onto a deck chair. Didn't even need to fly onto the chair because it was so tall.

Where do you live if you don't mind me asking?

Truth be told, we never get to see what happened to Forest. We don't know how "brutal" his death was because we don't know for sure what killed him.

Could have been a Zombie, Crimson Head, Crow, ect

When you examine his body it talks about the crows peck marks...and there were no other zombies on the terrace...

I Think The Crows Dealt The Final Blow But Remember When Walking Out To The Terrace You Can See Blood Smeared On The Wall. It Can't Be Confirmed But You Can Assume That Forest Was Badly Wounded When He Went Out On To The Terrace, Looking For A Place To Rest But Instead Becomes Bird Feed.

This is what I'm trying to say, thanks. In the Original, Forest was killed by Crows, and probably in the REmake aswell, but I'm confidant in saying that something more dangerous wounded him first, before he headed for the terrace.

Zombie's can open doors, dude. (if we're talking about REmake)

I know I'm jumping to conclusions here, even stretching things, but...

For all we know, there could've been a Zombie on the terrace just as Forest got there. The Zombie could have killed Forest with the aid of Crows, then left the terrace in search of more flesh.

and there were no other zombies on the terrace...
The most probable theory indicates that he was wounded before he went out onto the terrace and that the terrace was seen as a means of temporary escape before the crows attacked him.

Silverback is right, by the way, zombies can open doors. (In the original, there's a zombie at the top of the stairwell that leads into the kitchen that opens the door and attacks you.)
