Need advice, I had Windows 7 64 bit, now Windows 10 64 bit I get error screen and the game won't play. I re installed with no luck. I played 55 hrs with WOS 7. Any advice? Thanks. Site "Can I run It" says yes

Also can't find a site to download GFWL. i.e Games for windows live.

Try it...it looks like that Windows Live service is no longer available which may explain some of the 404 and network connection errors you are getting.
 
Thanks (y) I give up. Like I said, I already played for 55 hrs, so I'll leave it at that. Funny my other RE games 0, 2, 4, 6 RER, and RER2 launch and play fine. Thanks
 
OK, got it fixed. No way to attach the solution, but it's fix. Thanks(y):coffee: In the "gfwlivesetup" fold, I used the "xliveredist" application.

Glad you got it fixed. The other games that you were able to launch (0, 2, 4, 6 etc)..are those also "Games for Windows Live" games?
 
Yes, That is what is weird. I went to WOS 10 In march 2021. I don't like it, but what is one to do, I still can't get my computer to sleep. I've tried all the fixes. Oh well, all good now. Thanks.(y)
