Okay, so I noticed this when I first played The Struggle. In Barry's campaign, Barry and Natalia find Evgeny dead in his bed looking like he's been there a while, then in the next episode Barry drops his BSAA folder-thingy. But in The Struggle, Moira finds Barry's folder thing then Evgeny dies in a chair (maybe he didn't actually die in the chair and moved to the bed?).
So are the cutscenes in The Struggle (even though they're in the same cutscene technically) mixed-up, or was it just showing why Moira was by herself in the middle of the night? But in that case, why was Moira outside their "house" for Evgeny to lock her out? Also, how was the door unlocked for Barry and Natalia? It looked kind of like Moira had been in there after he died, maybe she was the one that moved him, but how would she have unlocked the door?
What do you guys think?

I think when Moira finds the BSAA folder she flashes back to when Evgeny locked her out. He could have easily locked her out by just making sure he entered that room before her, closing the door and quickly locking it. I think that's likely because he's also standing at the door talking to her when she's crying. I also assume that Evgeny didn't die in the chair, he just coughed and slumped back and either passed out or just closed his eyes.

As for how the room became unlocked for Barry and Natalia, the only plausible theory I can think of is that perhaps he knew that Moira had left that message on her phone when he had rescued her, and opened the door when she had gone, so that if anyone came looking for her they'd find the phone with the message and know that she was there at some point, that she had survived after the tower had collapsed. He knew Moira wanted to try to get home, after all, so maybe that's why he did it. I guess we'll never know the true answer to this, though.

Yeah, that's what I thought about the flashback thing, but I read somewhere that Moira found the BSAA thing and went to tell Evgeny, so I was really confused.

Hmm. I guess that could be true. But from the way it goes from Moira finding the ID, flashes to Evgeny locking her out and then back to Moira again it's more suggestive of a flashback to me. I could be wrong, that's just the way I saw it.

I think you're right. Your explanation makes a lot more sense.

When moira picks up the bsaa case and sees it's her dad's, she has a flashback to the last father figure she was with.

Evgeny locks the door to die alone so he doesn't have to burden moira.

When he locks the door and calls moira kroshka again and she belittles him for not even asking for her name.
He then amends his words to include moiras name and let's her know his name without her asking. This shows that he had a great amount of trust for her.

Now, my theory on the true ending of Evgeny:
I think the conversation in the cutscene was cut short. I dont think he actually died when he collapsed onto the chair.
He must have let moira in and possibly died in her company.
She then arranged him peacefully on the bed and left a gem with him.

Evgeny told her not to go out at night although she found barrys Id at night so she must have been looking for another way off maybe.

Although, this leaves another question.
Where was moira occupying after evgeny died?
