There was the African tribe in RE5, and that theme is apparently returning in RE6...
First off, we have this:
In Chinese actress Wendy Monk's VC it is said that she voices a woman of a tribe that turns into a zombie during some part of Resident Evil 6.

We also have this:

What do you guys think of this? Do you like the returning of the tribe theme? Do you think they're beating a dead horse, or should it never have even come into play in the first place...

I don't mind it, I guess. I've already kind of accepted Chris' part will be more action-oriented, while Leon's will be some action with more horror/suspense. And it looks like Mr. Mystery's part follows in Chris' footsteps with action.

I don't like it.

Never liked the whole "african tribe" theme that was intruduced in RE5.

In RE4, the whole "monks" thing was excusable since they where pretty creepy and gloomy, but I am just not a fan of this.

That particular screenshot reminds me more of this:

Chris is now Batman. Makes total sense.

It depends on how it's done. Chris is in China right? There are still villages in China, and villages would most likely be a hell of alot easier to infect than a city, since there's no real or modern defense forces and technologies. As long as it's not too overwhelming and has some variety (I would like to see another modern city again too.) then im cool with it.

I didnt really like the Tribe thing :( It wasnt any good, I did like Sheva's Tribe outfit thought ;) if they included some female tribe zombies in there tribe bikinis I..........well you get the point lol

I never ever liked Chris but I'm glad they took away his Duke Nukem wannabe muscle build, he's more slimmed in RE6 which is good because the way he was getting his ass kicked in RE5 just made his huge build look like a joke. The fact about Chris which I always laugh at is that he is the character in the series who has been punched and kicked the most lol

Resident Evil is not the type of game that needs to have persistent out of place fanservice.

Chris looks almost the same as he did in RE5 just slightly smaller, and getting his but kicked wasn't really a big deal since the people that he was fighting were no longer human.

I enjoyed tribe segment in RE5. It was great to explain the origins o the progenitor virus, and the origins of Spencer's and Wesker's plans (selection based in viral infection survival). And then Tricell taking advantage of the tribe to test the plagas, that reminded me of RE4.
However, I think RE6 will have more like a terrorist group in which all members are infected with something, and they wear ritual masks as signature, not tribes.

-looks more like a gang of thieves maybe....being that its china and they are wearing monkey-king masks.
-ive never heard of there being any such thing as a tribe in china???

I didn't like the gun wielding infected in RE4.
They came back in Resident Evil 5.
I don't like the tribe.
I hope they don't return.
They could be some sort of human gang who choose to cover their face perhaps?

The plagas made sense, and the only real gun wielding enemy in RE4 was JJ, and Krauser, 5 was definitely over the top towards the end of the game.

And i'm sure the story behind the masked gang will be revealed in time, the monks and tribe for RE4 and 5 fit well in the games, i'm sure they'll be alright in this one and have a story behind it.
