Resident Evil 4 Resident evil 4 normal/hard mode

finished 4 on normal mode last week i wanna start a new game on hard mode if i start a new game on hard mode will i still have the things i unlocked available? i also unlocked professional mode whats that?

professional mode is hard mode. You won't start the game with anything that you unlocked from your normal game. You will start an entirely new game but when you finish a game on professional, you will get a prl 412 which is awesome. It kills enemies with an extremely bright flash. It has the same effect as a flash grenade does to a plaga. Hope this is useful

Certain bits in the game took me a millions trys. Like the dog maze in the castle and the military base near the end of the island. I did that whole bit with virtually no health. It sucked but I powered through. I think I died 22 times all together.
