Who is planning to play the original RE2 before the remake is released?

I wanted to, but I ended up playing REmake instead.

I don't have it, and I've never played it, so this will be the first time I'll experience the story of 2. I feel like a child on Christmas Eve.

I'll prepare with replaying the HD remake of 1, and that'll be it.

Played through Leon A Claire B and Claire A Leon B on GameCube a little while back and I might again some time soon.
But playing REmake isn't a bad way to go either, since a remake of RE2 kind of lends itself to being a sequel, however loose.

Just finished the original 3 talk about a nostalgic trip, Although I do rate the 2002 remake higher than the 1996 release due to the voice acting mainly but yes I am so pumped up to be jumping back into Raccoon City as both Leon and Claire this game has some serious potential and has to be a huge contender for GOTY.
