Remaking Resident Evil 2 and 3 in one game.

What do you guys think on Capcom making an RE2 and 3 remake in one game instead individually ?
You will switch back and forth between Jill, Leon, Claire, Sherry, Ada, and Carlos.
It will start off you playing with Jill(with her introduction) and you keep playing has her until she leaves the RPD police station. Which will then switch to Leon or Claire on who ever you choose. If you chosen Leon you will start with him and his introduction and you will keep playing as him until you switch to Ada. Then it will switch to Ada then back to Leon. Ends the campaign for Leon. Then back to Jill(you keep playing as her until she passes out) then you switch to Carlos then back Jill and then end of the game. If you choose Claire you will start with her and her introduction and you will keep playing as her until you switch to Sherry. Then back to Claire , which ends the campaign for Claire. Then back to Jill, then to Carlos then back to Jill ending the game. The two games will end together with them leaving before Raccoon City being destroyed.
While your playing as Jill you could still have the may different endings from the original. Same goes for when your playing as Leon or Claire.

You could have the option to pick over the over the shoulder or have the old(SUCKEY) tank controls.

I think there would probably be too much goin on and not enough attention given to each. Then again maybe I just don't like the whole switching/episode kind of gameplay.

It would be one busy ass game. Too busy, in fact. I mean Re2 was on two separate discs back in the day. I feel like if they remade them into one combined game both stories would be severely butchered.

Two separate discs, yeah, but each individual campaign/scenario can be completed in one and a half hours, less time than you need for one RE6 campaign (except maybe Ada's). I think it wouldn't be bad, because as much as I like RE3, it always felt like only half of a game to me (only one scenario, two difficulty levels, a story that barely matters in the context of the overall plot except for Jill getting infected), pretty much a step backwards in many regards.

Then again, I don't like the idea of squeezing everyhting into one single campaign and then switching from Jill to Leon/Claire, to Ada/Sherry, back to Jill, to Carlos, etc. Better make individual campaigns then, each telling the story of the Raccoon City outbreak from a different point of view, as the RE2 and 3 storylines never intersect anyway despite taking place at roughly the same time.

However, that would mean settling for one of the possible RE2 stories (Claire A - Leon B, or the way around) for good, since otherwise it might indeed be too much. I think a remake of RE2 on its own would be fine as well, because even though the main campaign is probably the shortest of all RE games to date, it could be expanded with additional Ada / Sherry campaigns, or a more elaborate Extreme Battle mode.

The possibilities are endless, and you see I'm actually quite undecided. I think I would appreciate almost anything as long as it's not another rail shooter crap that doesn't even conform to canon.

Because that turned out so well the first time. Do we really need to ruin the classics with a busy, RE6 type game? It would be the exact same sort of cluster **** and I'm pretty sure no one wants to revisit the RE6 travesty.

Despite being a 'step back' in your estimation, RE3 was its own game with its own story and should be treated as such, not thrown on a disc with 'the masterpiece of the Resident Evil franchise' like Tofu's scenario or the Fourth Survivor.

I merely compared the sizes of these games, I never suggested anything about making the RE2/3 remake like RE6, except giving us two separate campaigns in one game instead of squeezing two unrelated stories into one campaign. You're freaking out for no reason.
